Well I had a feeling that GodofWar was the last one, but why in the hell would Stefl give us bad information. Unless of course the information was bad as well, which is a possibility. I want to give Stefl the benefit of the doubt, but its tough to. Im just kinda glad its over.

Curious as to who is making the next game

I held up the game the last night because it looked like stefl rage quit, I don't think he knew that lie detector ment seeing if the statement was true/false, not the player.

He seemed to understand that it was a statement,  since he was qouting specific statements that he was lie detecting.  The only hting I wonder is why did he get the result he got for the Linkz qoute.

I mean the statement asked basically was "was linkz lying about....", which I put false to. I think he misunderstood that as Linkz was being false, not the statement. I was hoping he would understand that "False" ment "No" or "Negative". I didn't want to tell him "True" because it would have seemed like Linkz was actually lying.

Makes perfect sense to me.  If I were to ask "Are you lying about statement x," with a reply of "false," it is so obvious that this means, no, I was not lying about statement x.

If any of you are honestly blaming this on ABC, that is sad.  A simple PM by Stefl asking ABC the meaning of "False" would have cleared up any and all confusion, despite the fact that no confusion should have been present in the first place.

If its so obvious then why was it misinterpreted by the person who recieved the information?

Its funny that you say that a simple PM from Stefl could have cleared up what the answer False ment,  but why couldnt the original PM have been more clear to not need such a thing.

Well if you were unsure he was going to understand the answer then shouldnt you have been more clear with it.  With how he worded the question, the answer should have been "No he wasnt lying about it".

Now im not so pissed at Stefl

yeah and sounds like a comunication break down to me. I was considering having you wait a little longer since I knew you were town the moment you didn't rush a vote, but I just wanted the game to end and stefl had not been around for days.

OMFG

If I ask you, "Is the statement x a lie"

If you respond, "True"

This would VERY obviously mean, TRUE, statement x is a lie.

If you instaed responded, "False"

This would VERY obviously mean, FALSE, statement x is NOT a lie.

It is so simple, and to put the blame on ABC is completely wrong anyways.  He sent an answer that makes perfect sense.  If it doesn't make sense, there is this wonderful thing called sending a PM to ABC asking for clarification.  If anybody at all can be blamed for this, it is Stefl, and only Stefl.

I can't believe I'm arguing about this, but it is so insanely stupid that you guys don't understand how easy it is to understand what true or false could mean in context with the question that was asked.

He seemed to understand it for trucks though and also is the question is this statment a lie

or is the question is this statement true or false. With a lie detection I would think the second question.

I already told him in his pm that I would only answer "True" or "False", I already was putting too much information in the flavor and I didn't want even more to slip.

Putting to much information in the flavor should not influence making sure informative roles have the correct information.

so why did he understand it right for TOS then?

Because he asked a question that was very easy to anwer true or false, he asked me if Trucks's answer "No, I'm not (mafia)" was True, which I gave True for.

That was for his second question asking "was linkz lying", which would have been a lie if I had said True. The first one was much clearer and asked "Was Truck's statement 'No I'm not (mafia)' true?", to which I said "True".

I wasnt going to wait, me voting was going to put this game out of its misery, which it needed badly.

so did stefl know fow the start the answers would be based on his questions and not the post he choose?
