Ah! Trucks was ideed a townie (is a psychopath some sort of paranoid gun owner or vig?).
But in any case, Stefl knew that already.

I just wanted to bring this post up again because of how odd it is.
I know a lot of you disagree with how I think, but look how this statement is worded.
Heph later implies that he "followed" stefl to ToS, or got some flavor, whatever the hell it is.
Heph's question above doesn't say, "Why did you visit stefl", or anything to that degree. It specifically says that stefl "KNEW" trucks alignment.
Here's my assertion. Heph is correct when he says, "lack of suspicion draws attention". It's true. Lack of suspicion does draw attention because those people with little suspicion are trying to fly under the radar. Usually it is scum. However, whenever I play, and most people can vouch for me on this, at day 1 I usually have a list of 4-5 people. eventually 40-50% will show up town. The other two though...are usually doc or cop. Because it's not just scum that try to avoid suspicion, it's also power roles. I believe heph followed steph because he thought steph was a power role. (He may also simply be a role cop. His flavor was something like, well, I'm not going to try because every time I do, Heph says I'm trying to get Heph randomed [lol].
Well, I know it seems like Heph would HAVE to be a tracker for being able to contextualize BOTH trucks and stefl, but in a paraphrase that Heph freely gave, his flavor said, "trucks thinks stefl asks too many questions" it's easy to piece together what might've happened when the day starts and trucks is dead townie. SP, he doesn't really ned to be a scum tracker to put the two into context. The flavor practically includes tracker results.
Anyway, I believe that he worded this question above in an obfuscated way in order to force a claim. (of course, they could both be scum, but like I said, I'm narrowing the pool from now on, and stefl is out too, for now)
Instead of holding on to information and patiently waiting, he jumped the gun, so to speak. I believe that maybe Heph did not exactly know what stefl was. So of that, I believe the possibility exists that Heph is telling the truth. This probably explains why he gets so mad when I say that he already knew that stefl was the LD. As a scum, he is in the great situation where he can be completely and utterly HONEST about what he did and didn't know. However, I think he's also taking a little bit too much advantage of that situation, which is why he's allowing too MUCH honest emotion, and getting angry.
Food for thought.
