ummmm.....okkkk.

wait, what?

If I'm lynched and flip town, then an RB exists? I can't possibly see how'd you come to the other conclusion, so that must be it. Those are pretty bad means to an end, linkz.

What "other conclusion"? Exactly, hence the bold.

the other conclusion would be I flip mafia, but that doesn't say anything in reference to the RB. I didn't think you'd come to that conclusion because it doesn't have any informational benefit.

If you flip mafia that's always a good lynch. Plus it could very well rule out there actually being a RB. Either you'd flip RB also, or given nobody else counterclaimed being RBed it would point to your partner not being RB either or hitting a vanilla.(that assumedly wouldn't be informed) It would reduce the odds of there being an RB down to like 20%.

oh cmon, you're splitting hairs.

Lynching me is a good way to reduce the odds of there being an RB by 80%, and there's always the chance that I'm mafia?

I mean c'mon man, seriously, wtf is that?

THat's like saying I want to lynch you specifically because you could be mafia and reduce the odds of something else, in some theoretical way. Where's your game, linkz?

And when I flip town? Then there IS a roleblocker who has thus far refused to claim and clear the air, and you are further away from town victory than before.

You put THAT on the same level as lynching Heph to clear stef?

I'll agree with FF, this game really IS bizarre.

First, lolz at the Wonk dig. :P

Now, there's pretty big flaw(2 actually) in your theory of scum Tracker Heph. Just to make sure I have it right, you think that if he's scum he knew(or at least had plenty of evidence to think strongly) already that Stefl was LD?

yes. What's the flaw?

1. You believe the RB is scum, due to my reasoning which was based on Heph being town.

2. And if that is ignored, why didn't they simply RB Stefl instead of you and try to find power elsewhere?

3. Your theory that you were blocked to prevent Vette's death only makes sense if you actually are the vig(and not SK, though mafia wouldn't know either way yet) AND Vette is also scum.

1. It is? I thought it was based on my own reasoning. Specifically where I said LD the role-bodyguard Scum RB makes for good balance, on top of RB not claiming yet, on top of there being, so far, town power roles, and overly-coordination-dependent mafia roles. (Like, RBing the hider, so that another role can do something to them) I could go on.

2. Shouldn't this be making sense to you? 4 People claimed to be town in response to questions of "are you townie/mafia" If those 4 people are all town, what is the need to block stefl? Block someone else, kill one of the 4, rendering stefl potentially useless, and simply manipulate stefl. WHy do I need to know exactly what they're thinking? There is potential for them to do it, and many benefit over actually RBing stefl. It's both preferable and likely.

3.No, I do not actually have to have a killing power. The RB only need think that I do. But yes, Vette would likely have to be scum. Or something like that. There's a lot of variations there could be that don't involve Vette, but point to the thinking that I have a killing role. From this basic derivation, someone who didn't believe my claim would be one to look at. The idea that it could be to protect Vette is only one aspect of that idea.

So you knew, or at least had good reason to believe Stefl was LD at the time of your unvote? You didn't think he was the cop at all?

as i said (or tried to) many times, i knew he was LD when he said he knew prof was pro town shortly before dawn. If i ever thought of cop on him it'd have been reading his post thinking he was fake claiming cop.... then i made the connections and unvoted.

i believe I can answer this question for him. Stefl's claim made him "tick" back to the evidence that he had and suddenly the message made sense.

^^ thanks

You think linkz proposal makes sense?

Lynching me is a good idea because it could give info about the RB?

2. sorry i thought i pointed it out earlier too, but i don't see the benefits...this assumes the 4 are town, otherwise you have 50% chance that a scum is actually caught (or 50% or more). Moreover, did you know stefl's role day one?

3. although it serves the anti vette point, the protecting vett point assumes they knew who you are...
