well then it's decided. Actually Stefl's role is only more powerfull if people know... though his fate depends on the protection he gets.

Lie to stefl and he'll know. He asked Trucks if he was a townie, Trucks answered and at Dawn, Stefl knew.

What did I missinterpret? I thought my flavor said that stefl thought trucks asked too many questions... this prompted me to vote directly instead of inquiering. Stefl saying he knew at dawn made me tick to the questions he asked day one.

The 4 people he had as targets yesterday were Trucks, Proff and I guess the lovers.... his choice of Trucks was wise as the lovers were likely to die and Proff too (errr).

On that FoS FF, FoS Proff for wanting to know the role, now please let stefl ask you a question, and do answer truthfully ^^.

Paraphrasing right? I don't know if anyone else figured it out, but this was pretty obvious once you said the cop shouldn't out himself. Lie Detector is the only other pro-town role that could figure out alignment without knowledge of role. The other option was that you knew Stefl to be the cop and tried to cover for him.

I'm still at odds as to why ABC gave your result flavor, but given the other steps he's taken so far I wouldn't say it's far-fetched either.

vote: stefl

I demand to know what his role is, Heph. If anyone of you ever pulls this shit again, in any game, you're getting an immovable vote. This ambiguity is a MAJOR distraction to the town. We should be looking at information we have, and this poking and prodding is nonsense. It's just more questions.

I know you've since unvoted, but this was ill-placed to begin with. The vote should have been on Heph as the cause of the distraction and the one willing to claim Stefl's role.

Stefl should have never said anything in the first place. He is as much to blame as Heph.

I agree that in a minute way, the vote was oddly placed, but it really didn't matter who the vote was on. Since Heph has proof of stefl's towniness, One way or another Heph has reason to tell me.

Heph's message apparently is "stefl thinks trucks asked too many questions", and that made him look at stefl's questions?

Actually my guess was that stefl was an amnesiac cop, and heph was a tracker, and that stefl had investigated ToS while Heph followed stefl and the results were sent randomly to Heph, hence why he said, "I doubt I'll get any other flavor".

The big piece of this puzzle that is still missing is why Heph thinks he won't get any flavor later, and why the flavor that he gotmade him think lie detector. "stefl thinks trucks asks too many questions" doesn't come off to me as lie detector, and doesn't even come off as mafia. If I were to read that in my pm, I would think trucks is a cop or some kind of investigator.

Plus it would be a uselsess role if randomized. Also the questions stefl asked day one. Made sence to me. I just hope he's not penalized now that you said his role.

OK.  Getting flavor in night action results sounds a bit odd, but it seems more plausible that he's protown now.

Unvote Heph

From what I get now. It would either be both of them on the same scum team or both town. Since they are both saying they have investigative roles I really doubt it's them on a scum team.

It's very unlikely that Stefl is scum and Heph is town, but it'd be fairly easy for Heph to be scum with Stefl being town. You're also missing something in the reasoning for doubting they're scum together. Remind me to point it out after the game, otherwise I'll state it plainly if I get the feeling Heph is scum.

Let me make it clear then. Heph was saying stefl knew trucks role after stefl made only one post for the day. Although it is possible he is scum, how would he know as scum that Stefl target ToS AND be able to know that his role wasn't the cop? so that's very very unlikely to me.

Next as for them both being scum cosidering it's two investigative roles they would be claiming, any actualy investigative roles the town has should have come forward already to counter them. In other words I'd say if we had a cop he should come forward now. But considering how powerfull stefls role is I doubt we have a cop. I just hope there is someone to protect him tonight.

Scum tracker takes care of knowing his target. There was plenty to go off day one to read Stefl as Lie Detector. Even if it wasn't picked up, Heph could have said he's not the cop as a gambit. It could get Stefl to deny that and thus confirm to mafia who needs to be killed/blocked. Or it could give Stefl a sense of protection from roleclaiming in order to gain false trust. There's really no drawback to making such a statement.

Hence the whole "Just saying to prevent the cop from outing himself." I would hope a cop would realize there's no way so many investigative roles exist in such a small game, but it's not certain. You're right though, if there are any counterclaims(and not just direct) then it wouldn't be bad to come forward.

well obviously i can't give you the exact flavor i had ^^

but on the mafia aspect... "he asks too many questions, pop him" would sound fitting...

but if you take into account the day 1 start and the fact he said he knew trucks was town... there is only one thing my flavor could refer to.

my guess was Heph tracked Stefl got a result that he targeted ToS and had some flavor. Sees ToS dead at the start of the day thinks it's Stefl. Then after Stefl said a few things it made Heph reread his flavor to see that it hints Stefl wasn't the killer and in fact has a very powerfull role.

one kill a night, there's no way to kill 3 investigative roles before finding scum.

This seems like a very strange statement. If you believe Heph has some reason to know that Stefl is town, then you should vote to pressure Heph for that information, not the supposed townie. I know you weren't actually pushing for a lynch, it's just illogical to me.
