woo 5 gigs worth by removing load times my goodness

uncompressed audio! we all can tell the difference between comperessed and uncompressed!

Lol

not that much, they are just trying to please some fans because of making it multi

Oh wait, but its still superior to the X360 version right?

Yes, as are other 360 games to ps3 that look better and have better load times it goes around like that

im just sick of all the comparing

See I actually like all the comparing, it's helped me sort out which game developers to support XD, but seriously earlier ports were TERRIBLE!, It's nice to see some people not only doing a great job with it, but using the extra space for SOMETHING. I personally love uncompressed audio XD, not a necessary feature, but nice to know they put it there.

Same here,
i had a friend who came over my house from another country and bought a fricken Bose worth $3000.
we hooked it up in my room to test if everything was working properly and we were pretty blown away by heavenly sword.

360 version uses the HD as a cache, so load times may be comparable.

...including an optional HDD install that removes all load times, and uncompressed LCP 5.1 surround sound. The ps3 version will also come with PSN features, and though it doesn't mention it, I'm sure the 360 version will make use of XBL.

From ps3fanboy.com:

You may not like Capcom for porting the former PS3-exclusive Devil May Cry 4 to the Xbox 360. But, can you take comfort in knowing that the PS3 version is still superior than its 360 counterpart? If you watched this episode of The 1UP Show, you would've heard the 1UP editors agree that the PS3 version looks and plays better than the 360 version. In addition, a new issue of Famitsu reveals some features that are sure to make PS3 owners quite happy.

An optional hard drive install will supposedly remove all load times from the game. But, be warned -- it's quite a hefty install at nearly 5GB. Not only will load times be shortened on the PS3, but audiophiles will be glad to hear that the PS3 version also includes 5.1 LPCM audio. There's also support for the PSN, although how exactly it will work is still unclear. Regardless, it makes us glad to see the PS3 version of DMC4 get extra functionality.

Dont you all see the silliness of these old-gen games and methods? It like two kids having an argument-

PS3 - Ive got a shiny new fire truck, im the best

Xbox360 - I just got a shiny new fire truck also, yay

PS3 - Oh yeah... Mine has a siren!! HAHA!!!

Xbox360 - Oh yeah!! Mine has some flashing lights....!

Xbox360/PS3 - Wtf...

Wii - I just got a brand new remote controlled fighter jet that really fires , makes noises, flashes lights, this is so fun "runs off as the jet goes flying bye"

 Xbox360/PS3 - ... fighter jets are OLD!

@jlrx
It's more like:
Wii - I got a slighty used fire truck, but it has a siren, flashing lights, a ladder that rises up and down, and a hose that really shoots water.

Xbox360/PS3 - But it isn't shiny!

its really hard to guess what your bias is......

its also amazing how you can actually make the Wii look so AWESOME in
a DMC4 thread for the PS3 and Xbox360...

a thread that had nothing to do with the Wii whatsoever... -_-

It's cool that the PS3 version installs to the HDD to reduce load times but uncompressed sound isn't that impressive... While my stereo can definitely take advantage of it, I can still hardly notice a difference.

No load times rock, though. I'm curious to know what kind of load times the 360 version has and whether they're obtrusive or not. That could impact which console I get this game for.

Nope.

You miss my point, I am inferring and rightfully so, that the Xbox 360 and the PS3 are offering up more of the same , in new packaging (ie; graphics) nothing innovative outside of perhaps online, but then again the Wii is capable of doing the same stuff (and can get better if it is updates/improved).

Anyway, while the 360 and PS3 are playing with the same ol stuff in new packaging, the Wii is doing something totally different and "new" ie; next-gen gameplay.

- also, yes I know it's off topic, but my point was about people going on and on about small feature changes in the same game, it's not that big a deal, and its the same ol same ol.

I rest my case.

edit:to be fair your first analogy was actually pretty good, the one about the firetrucks, but then
you had to bring the Wii in which had no place in this certain situation. that alone showed that you
had no intention to leave a constructive post, you had another motive which was to belittle the other two systems and try to praise your system of choice in a thread that had nothing to do with it.

Sure it does, because I think a game like DMC would be fun on the Wii, call it what you will. I own a 360 and I dont think there is any difference worth caring about between a PS3 version or Xbox version. I want new things - and new "good" sequels to good "old" classics (lets say Lunar, Chrono Trigger, Ogre Battle, etc)

your grasping.
It has nothing to do with the  Wii.
especially in the context you used in your first comment.

"I own a 360 and I dont think there is any difference worth caring about between a PS3 version or Xbox version."

good for you.

anyway installing data on the Ps3 Harddrive is pretty much standard now.
