Its the Labour Party, Dont know shit, spend all the money, drive the country broke, Liberals come in, fix the country, while fixing they have to bring some hard news because of all the f ups the Labour Party did, they lose populatity and the labour come back in just in time to blow all the money again.

The Libearls are going to Win soon, so all this Banning and censor crap wont happen. Really they are going to try and enforce it thought the National Boardband Network but it wont work and be an huge waste of money.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Man Australia I mean I disagree with the porn industry and think porn can have negative impacts on peoples lives. But if your going to ban small breasts and ejaculations then you should just ban it all. If Australia bans it all then they are taking away several freedoms that make Australia a democracy.

I of course think Porn should be illegal, hiring a porn star to sleep with you infront of a camera is no different then hiring a prostitute if one is illegal so should the other one. I remember watching a news report that a police sting ended up going arriy. Their was a police officer under cover as a prostitute and a guy propositioned her, but had a camera and a film liscense. They had to let him go, that is so wrong. It's like the law here in Canada that everyone has to wear a helmet while riding bike. But Sihk's don't have to because their turbans have to be visable at all times. Whats illegal for one person should be illegal for the next.

Well now that I've done my little rant on legality. I think Australia is playing with democratic fire. How much censoring can they do while still claiming to give its citizens democratic freedom's? The games issue just underlines what I'm talking about, freedom of expression should be protected in Australia and right now it just isn't!

Prostitution IS legal in Australia (as it should be everywhere).

I'd swear we've had this thread before about this same exact thing.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'm all for large breasted women, but porn is certainly more varied than that.

@Joel. The solution clearly isn't to illegalize porn. It's to legalize prostitution.

Prostitution is legal in Australia...

Anyway i wouldn't be concerned about what one senator wants -- he is a senator he dose not get to draft laws... that for the lower house to do. Also he is a liberal -- there in opposition and are not likely to hold the balance of power in the upper house anytime soon anyway with the greens getting like 12% of the vote...

As for the second part of your post, I'm pretty sure A-cup porn is already (really stupidly) illegal in Australia. What kind of person actually thinks seeing small tits turns you into a paedophile?

Oh crap all the girls I have ever liked (Had crush's on) all had small boobs. EEEeeeek I'm a paedophile.... What a stupid premise. Australia has one screwed up Government I wonder how many Government employees are secretly porn fans watching exactly what they are making illigal.

As for prostitution being illegal. Morally I'm opposed to prostitution. However in a democracy a women should be able to willingly sell sex. Its her body, however I think it should be regulated. Taxed and properly done. Example all the sex slavery here in NA and probably in Australia, the Government's should be going after rescuing girls forced into prostitution rather then focusing so much attention on those who are willingly selling their bodies.

So do I agree with prostitution, absolutely not. I believe if it is illegal then porn filming should be illegal as well. However in a democracy I believe it should be legal (Freedom of expression) but forced sex should be clamped down on way harder and I think it would be easier to fight sex slavery if prostitution was legal.

Again this is not a question of morality it is a question of democracy. Morals and freedom's do not always go hand in hand!

I'm glad we pretty much agree! I also disagree with prostitution, and I'd never hire a hooker. However it's much better than prostitutes work in a regulated industry where they do not have to fear the police than one where they do. There is so much risk of sexual assault or worse against prostitutes and as you said a risk of sexual slavery in the industry that regulation and legalization is the only sensible idea.

Not surpised. Our government is pretty stupid these days.

Having grown up on the Gold Coast of Australia, any girl who was anyone (i.e not an outcast and actually spent time at the beach, ever) got plastic surgery soon after leaving high school anyway, so this was the last thing I would have expected to be an issue. I know cultural outlooks vary by state and place but a large number of Australians live close to the beach so I would expect the cultural and social pressures to be at least similar in those areas.

@farmland: I agree totally

...unless it turns out that the only small breasted girls in the industry (is because they) are underage, which is extremely sick and in that case (for once) I would agree with the government on this
