@Joel. The solution clearly isn't to illegalize porn. It's to legalize prostitution.

Prostitution is legal in Australia...

Anyway i wouldn't be concerned about what one senator wants -- he is a senator he dose not get to draft laws... that for the lower house to do. Also he is a liberal -- there in opposition and are not likely to hold the balance of power in the upper house anytime soon anyway with the greens getting like 12% of the vote...

As for the second part of your post, I'm pretty sure A-cup porn is already (really stupidly) illegal in Australia. What kind of person actually thinks seeing small tits turns you into a paedophile?

Oh crap all the girls I have ever liked (Had crush's on) all had small boobs. EEEeeeek I'm a paedophile.... What a stupid premise. Australia has one screwed up Government I wonder how many Government employees are secretly porn fans watching exactly what they are making illigal.

As for prostitution being illegal. Morally I'm opposed to prostitution. However in a democracy a women should be able to willingly sell sex. Its her body, however I think it should be regulated. Taxed and properly done. Example all the sex slavery here in NA and probably in Australia, the Government's should be going after rescuing girls forced into prostitution rather then focusing so much attention on those who are willingly selling their bodies.

So do I agree with prostitution, absolutely not. I believe if it is illegal then porn filming should be illegal as well. However in a democracy I believe it should be legal (Freedom of expression) but forced sex should be clamped down on way harder and I think it would be easier to fight sex slavery if prostitution was legal.

Again this is not a question of morality it is a question of democracy. Morals and freedom's do not always go hand in hand!

I'm glad we pretty much agree! I also disagree with prostitution, and I'd never hire a hooker. However it's much better than prostitutes work in a regulated industry where they do not have to fear the police than one where they do. There is so much risk of sexual assault or worse against prostitutes and as you said a risk of sexual slavery in the industry that regulation and legalization is the only sensible idea.
