Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Sony Xveria Play does not play PSP games. Instead it allows access to the PSN store, and lets you download PS1 games to play. Ontop of that, this is an Android Phone, so installing a GBA and SNES Emulator would be rather simple.

That said, my next phone will likely be a Sony Xveria Play, but wouldn't it be cool if it could play PSP games?

Do you think they should release a model capale of playing PSP games, maybe extending the life of the PSP? If So, how much more would you pay for the device? Keep in mind the phone costs $100 extra ontop of a 3 year data plan.

EDIT!! I made a type in the price. $50 extra shoul say $150 total, not $100 total.

It can't access PSN, it can access the Playstation suite. Which only has, what 5-6 games on it? 

I did not know that, so this thing really isn't much of a Playstation phone.

How can you tell what games are on the Playstation suite before buying one of these?
