thanks for the heads up dude! ;) I think it might be a good sign if not we would have had 20 articles on n4g already and 10 threads here on doom and gloom. so for now I think it's a good sign (fingers crossed)

It's quite insulting that PSN has been down for more than 3 weeks, negligently compromised the details of 100,000,000 accounts, then have the nerve to make a post in that humerous style. There needs to be some serious staff shakeups at Sony. That jokey maintenence comment is really not appropriate.

There is a new undergoing maintenance page on sonys messageboards.  It says JIVE.
