He's from a market which tends to have excessive marketing campaigns that are (often) quite memorable and "catchy" and yet I can't recall an advertisement from his company that is newer than the 1990s.

Mountain Dew Code Red is from 2001 - 20002, also AMP Energy Drink is from 2007 - 2008

amps marketing is basically go to all the college campuses and give them away by the truckload...

Man I don't mind that strategy. Free 3DS and Cafe's being given away by the truck load, that would certainly get my attention. Great strategy lol!
I think its pretty cool that he is coming to work for Nintendo as marketing VP. But the question is can he do public appearances good. Cammey was good but she sucked Monkey Balls at press conferences and pitching Nintendo's products.
I think the best VP of marketing to date for Nintendo was Reggie, guess thats why they made him president. 3DS just lacks ads so does Wii. With Cafe coming up and unimpressive sales Nintendo really needs some good ads.
If this guy can churn out a AAA ad campaign then more power to him. I'd love to see Nintendo taking charge again and launching some good ads. I remember with DS and Wii seeing ads on the streets in the magazines/papers in the old folks homes on the TV and all over the internet. Now that was a AAA campaign if Nintendo can do this again then this guy will be well loved!
