Forums - Nintendo - One (1) exciting new game coming to Wii and DS this year

This update is for all you heathens that are more excited about yet another Sonic game than the return of Ray Man, which unlike Sonic, hasn't actually featured in any of the countless crappy games his franchise has seen this gen

Once again, confirmation from Ubisoft that the game is coming to Wii, complete with boxart.

And while your waiting, have a look at this lovely trailer from E3 2010. I dare you not to smile!

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

Rayman might not have been in any controversial games like Sonic, but he is still very much Ubi's limbless little whore - not only should Origins have been initially announced for Wii, but it's not surprising in the least that it is arriving to the console after originally being denied.

The official line from Ubi is that the game was planned as a downloadable episodic game. It's quite clear that slick animation would never fit in WiiWare's size limit, so the game was only announced for Wii after they decided on releasing all episodes simultaneously as a retail game.

Regardless of whether or not you buy this line, the game looks good. If the Wii gets a legitimate version on disc there is no reason whatsoever not to support it. Lets not go overboard with this whole anti-3rd party stance or we'll never see an end to this vicious cycle.

What anti-3rd party stance? I'm just speaking the truth about Ubi's handling of the character over the years. Origins should have been on the Wii from the start. Now it is. I don't see any point in rejecting it now.

This game looks great.  My only question now:  Do I get for Wii or PS3?
