250gb? Who /really/ is going to go over it? And even if they do... it's only another $10 per 50gb. I actually think these prices/caps are more than fair. Why should 98% of users suffer while the other 2% are using 10 times the average?

are you running a bunch of servers out of your house? I thought I download a ton of stuff but that is plenty even for me. These caps do seem generous, i just worry that each year they will get smaller and smaller. Hopefully it goes the other way around like cell phones and each year gets cheaper.

i download (pirate) software to try, movies, anime, and demos of games. Plus MMORPGs and League of Legends.

Oh wow, screw that. Dammit, I hate that my contract with T-mobile ends in like 2013, and I hope I don't have to change anything in my service to extend my contract. AT&T is such a shit company, mediocre service as it is and now screwing us. Bad enough that such a "superpower" like the USA is so behind on internet speeds.

Cool. And if you were with AT&T, you'd be paying an extra $50 dollars a month for the bandwidth. I'm sure the amount you'd save, on the whole, based on the fact that the only way you're using that much is (most probably) pirating.

Fuck that. I'm just glad most users are still uncapped in Germany. I have just 1.5 Mbits and even I could hit that limit. (Altough I would need to download 15 days straight at full speed)

For someone with higher speeds (which pretty much everyone should have by now) this could be easily reached within a week or faster. Hell, watching HD movies on Netflix probably takes a lot if you watch many shows.

$50? I'd be paying them at least $5000 a month since I download monthly in the terabytes.
