A Sequel to possibly thee worst PS3 game made? really?

For the record, Lair and Warhawk were the reasons I stood in line 38 hours for my PS3 day one.

Needless to say........ Warhawk is still awesome!

Great concept, bad implementation. I'd rather a new IP based on the concept of Lair, maybe a sprititual successor kind of thing. 



Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I completely agree, I hated the first game, my most hated game of this generation, even after Mirror's Edge, frankly, even if Lair 2 got 85 on Metacritic, I would be hard pushed to buy the game, because I hated the first one so much, others will undoubtly feel the same, so a rebranding is nessecary and a new team as well (this ones kind of obvious though after Factor 5 collasped)



This was made by the same people who made Rogue Squadron - i havent played Lair - apparently its awful. but from what people have said here, i would like the production team to come forward and implement the elements people liked into a new Rogue Squadron game.

because that game had zasz!!



The first one had a few great levels, soaring through the sky attacking the huge sea monster or doing bombing runs on watch towers. The controls were a bit on the twitchy side which made other levels a lot more frustrating then they should be, for example the level where you have to avoid all the light beams.

Much worse then the controls were the constant interruptions in the game flow and the annoying aerial dogfight qte sequences.

A new game with move support would be great. Fly with the navigation controller while aiming with the move.

But instead of Lair why not base it on Drakan. That game was pretty awesome back in the day. Move would also work perfectly for the sword fighting and bow shooting in Drakan.

Killzone has largely stayed the same throughout 4 games and each have retained the Killzone name.

I'm talking about a complete re-imagining of the IP. Similar to what Sony did for the entire PS3 product line. New logo, new tagline, new slogans, new system box design, new game cases, etc. 



Well the overall response to the idea has been much better than I anticipated :D sweet

and also as mentioned above I wouldn't mind a move game too, I think it's a great idea
