Fordy, just drop it. Livingmetal won't drop Sony for anything. Pic related: it's his set-up

And everyone who's been over at my place has been VERY IMPRESSED.  I know the goods.  And it's been fun.

You buy something because of a plastic logo stuck to the device? Sad. Very, very sad...

Hey now, it might be a coincidence... or he might just not be that informed on consumer electronics and getting the most bang for his buck.

Or he could work for Sony and get a discount or something.

You mean the Klipsh sub-woofer, Logitech controllers, Sanus TV stand, Sanus speaker stands, nook Color across the room, and DirecTV receiver?  And you have yet to answer my question.  How is Sony screwing me?

Other then losing your personal information by having below industry standard security and robbing you of the right to choose to modify your own property how you want?

I mean... if you can't figure it out... your just being intellectually dishonest with yourself.

Though I mean, you could argue Sony was screwing you as well because they generally underperform vs competitors based on price and seem to use more sub standard products then most since they seem to break down more often then most products....

but that's really more on you for not researching before you buy.

Was my personal information compromised?  Do I want to violate one's IP?  How is Sony screwing me?  Can anyone specifically answer that question?

Do you have a PSN account?  If so... yes.  Didn't you get the email from Sony?

As for violating ones Ip... don't see what that has to do with anything I said.

Seriously though... why would you buy so many Sony electronics.  This isn't the 90's... they're awful now when it comes to performance for cost.  Sony electronics used to be glass canons... but now they're more like glass pistols.
