I wouldn't say its under rated. Great story but its poorly designed. Hard to recommend.

Granted I only watched the Endurance Run on Giant Bomb, but I have to agree.  If they cut out maybe 75% of the combat, and polished some other aspects of the game (combat as well) it would have been a lot better.  I guess it was good enough to watch something like 20 plus hours of videos about it, so that says something.  Helped that it was Vinny and whoever the other guy was rather than the other two who also did an Endurance run.  Vinny makes everything better.

Some of the combat definitely goes on WAYYYYYY too long. When I think about this game I instantly recall how painfully long it takes to kill some enemies and other scenes that just seemed unusually long. The story is really the only thing that kept me playing.

If I could redesign that game the first thing I would do is just make it flow better. It gets painfully repetitive.

The only thing that annoys me about the game is that  it was finished a long time ago, when it was rainy woods.I remember in an interview the creator said they used resources from rainy woods, but it isnt just using resources,it IS rainy woods. The 1st and  only trailer of rainy woods actually showed part of the end game.Other than this minor detail not actually about the game itself but more of the origin of the game,i would say its close to perfect.(to se the images larger right click and click view image)A side by side comparison between the finsihed game 2010 and the only trailer of rainy woods  2007

Natal and Sony's flashing Ice cream cone

Well, I have just begun my second playthrough.  Their is just something about this game that makes it unique.  I just love the music and the main character.  No other game comes close, for me, in terms of pure enjoyment.  I had it used and just sold it on ebay.  Last week, wanted to play it again.  I go to my local EB game store and they tell me they have stopped making the game and they don't have any in stock.  Same thing in every store close to my home.  Panic time!  Fortunatly, I found it cheap, and new, on ebay.

I will try to complete everything this time around...isn't it right Zack?

I was also wondering if the devs made other games like this one.  If you have any infos, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
