When the action packed sci-fi thriller Battle: Los Angeles is released for Blu-ray on June 14, anyone who purchases the movie will get access to an exclusive playable demo of Resistance 3, the latest installment from Insomniac Games' first-person shooter series.

The Resistance 3 demo is approximately a half-hour long and features the creepy boat level that our own Jake Gaskill previewed at Insomniac's Community Day. From his preview, "This particular sequence finds Joe Capelli and an unidentified companion, both of whom just recently escaped a massive showdown with the invading Chimera in the town of Haven, Oklahoma, which we played through in our previous hands-on preview, and managed to travel quite a distance in order to secure transport and start their journey up the Mississippi on their way to St. Louis."

Thats ok, its not a terrible movie. After reading this im not really surprized my friend says he seen a resistance 3 billboard in it

I personally liked Battle LA a lot.

I also did see the Resistance 3 billboard in the movie as well. I nearly spazzed haha.

But it's not good enough for me to buy the Blu Ray yet alone a DVD version of Battle LA JUST to play a Resistance 3 demo. As much as I'd LOVE to play the demo, it just isn't worth it.

i wonder if its on the bluray disk or is it on a separate disk in the blu ray edition of the movie so you could access it just by renting it for $5

either way pretty sure it be on PSN for free prior to release doubt they would just limit it to this so at least we know a SP demo is confirmed something R2 didnt have

Well that's probably the only reason I'll ever buy the blu-ray.

Well if its like the way they did God of War III demo when it came with some blu-ray it was a PSN code.

Actually I have District 9, and I didn't have to enter a code for the GOW3 demo to work.

Makes a little more sense than the District 9 Blu-ray with the GoW3 demo lol
