You can find official MS 250GB HDDs for the slim model for about $60 making a $110 4GB SKU a huge bargain by any measure.
Unfortunately, Best Buy USA isn't showing this deal.

Oh, it's the Canadian Best Buy =P
It's a GREAT deal, and as others have said, with discounts on the 360S easy to add on Hard Drive you could easily upgrade to the equivalent of the 250G X360S model.
So you could have a flat finish 250G model for the equivalent of like 225.
And the hard drive may continue to drop in price.
Also, I would strongly encourage you to get an Optical Cable for the 5.1 sound if you have a receiver that will use it. The X360S has optical out and the music/sound surround in Alan Wake is so good - like going to HD from SD, but in sound. You will hear things all around you and if something big gets thrown at you, it’s like you can almost feel it.
Enjoy!
Thats really tempting to let it go by... what are you waitng for, go and buy it!!!

Your analogy is the same one I would use when describing the sound difference between a normal surround setup and a 5.1 surround headset.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
Have fun with 4GB. I barely get by with my 160GB PS3 Slim. I really need to upgrade the HDD. Have it loaded with tons of games and over 200 Movies, all sorted Alphbetically, it's quite the entertainment HUB. (wait this post doesn't really belong here) *shrugs and walks away*
You can get a 250GB hdd for 360 of Ebay for $50. So thats $160 for a Xbox 360 slim 250GB.
