if i actually want to deal with people, ya, kind of have to have a facebook...

I use a phone.

i do, for certain people. And I do keep my myspace up and running. Just no one posts there anymore, all thats there is bs celebraty crap thats not worth paying attention to.

Im considering making a linkedIn. be different.

Never heard of linkedin till I just looked it up.  Seems like that could help you a lot if you are pursuing a writing career.  You probably should do that.

sadly, i really have no intensions on persuing a writing career. I have worked in the game industry as a writer, and a few other things, for about 8 years. Truly I've never been a fantastic writter, and doing this entirely out of my passion for gaming, but my goals is to become an environmental consultant/business owner and make a difference in this world. I feel the difference I can make as a writer wont have enough of an effect towards my main goal.

It started falling when he sold it to Rupert Murdoch.  That was a perfect time to sell though for Tom.  He sold when Myspace was just begining to decline due to shitty Facebook.  I can't wait till Facebook goes away.  I deleted both Myspace and Facebook accounts awhile ago.  They ruined Facebook when they let anyone join.  It used to be decent when it was college students only.  Then they let high school fuckers in.  Then everyone...  Now it is shit.  Once my family started adding me and half of the "friends" were people I barely knew for high school back in 96-00 then that was the last straw.  Facebook is a piece of shit.

I feel you brother. I was there during the glory days of Facebook when it was just limited to college students. It had a nice atmosphere to it; being able to connect to just college people so we didn't have to deal with prepubescent brats that were all over in myspace. Well. Social networking is the in thing these days.

I think what gave facebook a push was that in many highschools(where I live) myspace was blocked, when face book came along many people just hopped on that(until that got blocked to...lol)

Well then.
