Forums - Gaming - Uncharted may be king of graphics on it's platform, but SO IS ITS CLONE!

Wow, some of you guys either need to play more games or book an appointment to the optemetrist, it in no way looks as good as most games from this generation. Hell, it doesn't even look as good as some of the best PSP or 3DS games (from what little 3DS footage I've seen). The pics make it look alright, but the gameplay videos remind of graphics from early PS2 games. The animations are wonky, the textures are awful, the frame rate seems really jumpy and the only positive thing I can say about it that's positive is that the character models look nice and it looks good for an Iphone game.

yep, i think ghost of sparta looks much better, especially since it runs perfectly too

I don't think it is the best looking iOS game. I was aiming it more towards the Android market.

It still doesn't look as good as current generation games (like a few people said), but like I said, it still looks good for it's platform (or comparable platforms).

Well, those people are crazy.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

What is most important in gaming and being a gamer?

Preconceived notions of what a game should be?

Allegiance to corporations?

Misguided fanboyism?

Answer: Being able to enjoy a superfluous form of distraction and entertainment called HAVING FUN.

Unless your living is based on this, any opinions to the contrary means you're a complete asshole.

What the hell are you talking about?

Who the hell are you talking to?

I didn't realise that Gameloft games incited such random and superfluous philosophies.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Looks good but the controls must be a pain.

Infinity Blade is the best looking mobile game because it is using Unreal Engine 3

Why the fu*k can't Gameloft make their own, origional IPs?

Also, those are good graphics.

Basically all games rip off of eachother. Atleast they are being pretty upfront about it. Also how else would we get these great games on mobile devices? I doubt blizzard has the time. You would think people would be happy they could get a good game at a cheap price.

My point, but much more succinct

This has nothing to do with gameloft (actaully it does), It's just my general disapointment with the state of gaming. It's just my opinion; not a philosophy. I love gaming, and I really enjoy being part of a fraternity of gamers. It just seems very few people actually enjoy the games they play. I think us as gamers are all on the same side.
