I got a mad cold raging right now, and it got me thinking about games that I remember playing while sick in the past.

For example, I distinctly remember my mom renting Mega Man 2 for me long ago when I was home sick from school. And last year, when I had my foot crushed at work, I spent the next 2 weeks playing nothing but Dragon Quest IX. I know I'll never look at that game without thinking about my injury.

Anyone else have any games they like to play when sick or associate with being laid up?

The Sims

Well at least back in the day anyway.

I remember I was sick with influenza for like 2 weeks. Halfway through my sickness, I would lift my fatigue body out of bed with my blanket wrapped around me, go to my dad's computer room, and play the Sims on PC.

Good times. I miss my dad's house.

I would suggest Final fantasy 13 since its a game and a movie.   :)

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

I agree with the turnbase sentiment. I'm playing Arc Rise Fantasia today, which is nice because I can play it while laying on the couch with a blanket, and I mostly just use the nunchuck to walk around and the A button, so it's very "low impact".

Maybe that's what we should all say whenever the Turn Base vs. Real Time battle debate comes up again, "hey, Turn base is way better when your sick!"

Sadly the times that I used to get sick was when I was a kid and I didn't have any video games...so I would usually sleep or watch the land before time.

But during my highschool years (I've only gotten sick once since I was 12) I would feign being sick every once in a while when both my parents had to work and play Fable.
