I havent yet played Lair, but I played Blue Dragon and it was really bad even for a Jrpg.
It depends of course what you prefer...
RPG haters will probably prefer Lair..
I prefer Blue Dragon it was fun for me :).
Lol...I don't like either. I have Lair for my ps3 & Blue Dragon for my 360...THEY BOTH SUCK. I haven't been able to force myself to finish either one. They both look beautiful, but Lair controls terribly, and Blue Dragon is uninspired (stupid story & way too easy).
Lover of both consoles, but hater of both games. Hope Lost Odyssey impresses me because I really, really am looking forward to it.
Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.
Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)
There ain't many things worse than lair.

No comparison; Lair is a 3/10 game to me while Blue Dragon definitely a 7/10
