how do i factor

2(x^3)-5

i know how to factor something like    (x^2) plus x - 2.

the answer would be (x plus 2)(x - 1)

so can you guys help.

i cant remember the formula for when its to the 3rd power

The equation you gave can't be factored into an integer polynomial (the answer is like 1.3572...)
