So 53.5m shipped, and 52.95 sold according to VGC, it had a 400k gap back in December, with those so called horrible shortages, now it's not even near that, yet the gap is 550k? -_- Yea Kowenicki, no need to adjust, no need...

 

OT: great results for Microsoft, really impressive.

400k at the end of december is very different than 550k at the end of march.

If it needs adjusting, it'll be adjusted I'm sure. Kowen just believes one thing and you believe another, it's not as if either of your thoughts are going to impact ioi's decision, so just respect his opinion on the matter and I'm sure he'll do the same ... aka, chill out and LEAVE KOWEN ALONE.

The landscape of Jan 1st is COMPLETELY different to April 1st, so why are you comparing? It increased 150k in terms of numbers, but the rate of sales have dropped dramatically compared to early January ...

That's the problem, 600k for the X360 appears normal to people, and 1.6m for the PS3 also appears normal (1.6 is the gap PS3 always seems to have 1.2/1.6)

No, not at all, different times of years and different factors alter things. 1.6 million PS3's on shelves this time of year would be way too much.

You have to understand PS3 ships to many more countries than 360, so there is going to be more out there than 360. Not to the tune of 800k though.

We don't currently have 1.6 mill on shelves though.

IF sony shipped 50.1 we have 650k on shelves ect ... if they hit their target of 2.8 for the Q, then we have 1.35M, So it could be just right, overtracked or undertracked. ... we'll find out May
