well in fairness, those are exceptions, not the rules.

the over welming majority of his posts are anti-sony and pro-microsoft. with a few that are oposite, few.

and he doesnt even own a ps3, nor does he have interest in purchaseing one, so it is odd that he post some much (bad)news about Sony. and from Nsanity's post history in Sony forums/topics, Pitzy's concerns fairly legitimate

Sounds like a self rationalization to me.  Espeically considering that there has just been so much more negative sony news lately.  Anyone posting a regular subset of articles should have more negative sony news.

No it doesn't actually. First of all, the main purpose of the first link was to warn VGC xbox live users of a current phishing scam, while the second link was expressing frustration with Valve (NOT Microsoft) bc Valve seemed to put more effort into the ps3 version of Portal 2 than it did the 360 version. Neither of those are negative threads about Microsoft/360.

The second reason his links don't prove or disprove anything is bc, even if both links were threads posting negative news on Microsoft, it wouldn't matter just the same. Did you really read my post I told Nikkom to read? I'll copy/paste the important section for you:

In other words, he's a Microsoft fan who - from everything I've seen - posts only negative threads about Sony. And THAT is what I disagree with. Just the same, I would disagree with a Sony/ps3 fan posting a bunch of negative threads about Microsoft, especially if negative threads were all he did. And just for the record, two other posters in this thread agreed with what I was saying. I don't feel I'm being paranoid, and I've never called anyone else out like this before. But I've continued to notice Nsanity's pattern for a while now, and finally got frustrated enough recently to say something.

Edit: Osamanobama just posted, so make that three. I don't say that to sound arrogant or anything - just defending my point and asking you to try to consider that what I'm saying may not be all that unreasonable. Regardless, I'm not crucifying Nsanity, and I don't feel I've been disrespectful at any point in the things I've said. And if I have, it wasn't my intention.

People agreeing with you doesn't make you paranoid.  There are a number of people who agree the US government orchestrated 9/11 afterall.

Outside which... even if you are right... there is zero reason you should be frustrated by this unless what is being posted is factually inaccurate.  It makes you look bad.  Afterall he's part of a forum.  Not a newssite.  There is more then enough posters to post every topic.

true, this thread doesnt bother me, in the slightest, but

the fact is Nsanity nearly exclusively post negative Sony news (even before the psn fiasco, so thats not an excuse), and nearly exclusively positive xbox news. and his posts inside thread (mostly not his own threads), he is very very anti Sony.

though this one thread might not prove it, Nsanity with out a doubt has an agenda.

Kind of a ridiculous example, especially considering the fact that about 3-4 ppl agreed with what you're saying, and 4 people agree with my point. Calling me paranoid when the viewpoints are split almost evenly down the middle doesn't seem to make sense.

Irregardless, our conversation doesn't seem like it's going anywhere. You're refusing to consider my viewpoint in any way. And you also continue to bring up defending points that I've already addressed in previous posts - one in each of your two most recent posts:

--- I already mentioned this several posts ago. I said it doesn't really make a difference that he posts factual information. The fact is, he posts ALL NEGATIVE news articles about Sony, ZERO positive. When it's someone who is an obvious fan of the opposing system (i.e. 360), it displays an obvious agenda. I really feel like you're not even reading my posts.

--- Again, I already stated:  I've been noticing this pattern with Nsanity for a while now. The fact that he's jumped on the opportunity and posted numerous threads about the current Sony situation is only what pushed me to finally say something.

It's frustrating trying to have this discussion bc it really seems like you're not even reading what I'm saying. I'm not trying to be a jerk. It's just that you keep trying to defend your point by saying things which I've already explained my reasoning for.

Typical negative Sony news thread, skip the important debate and go straight to picking on other posters to deflect from the actual topic at hand.  There is only a couple of posters in here that need moderating and it aint the OP.

On topic, these estimates will just keep on rolling in, it might be a better idea to just have a fun guess the final figure thread and be done with it so everyone can keep it light hearted and stop getting so defensive.  If it is 1.5b then that's pretty huge, I personally expect it to be significantly higher as I don't see the hackers just stopping and saying Sony have had it bad enough now.

No, I read that... the point is... that this would bother you makes you look bad.   Even if he posted only negative sony news constantly and zero other news.. the fact that this bothers you on a forum where there are plenty of people posting all sorts of news makes you look far worse then him.

You are attacking the OP for posting factual articles in which there are nothing wrong with.

It makes you look like an extremist fan who is attempting to deflect.

Afterall, if he didn't post it... someone else would have.  So what's the issue?

in my defense, i have no problem with the OP started this thread (though i do have many problems with what he usually comments)
