Forums - Gaming - I don't care what anyone says I enjoy The 3rd Birthday!!!

I'll be honest. I spent about 60 dollars last year on a mint black label copy of Parasite Eve for the PS1 and I never found it to be anything special. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I went in to T3B with low expectations but I really enjoy this game quite a bit. The shooting mechanics are excellent, the sound is awesome, the graphics are fantastic, it has quite possibly the hottest manual known to man, and I think the game itself it just excellent.

If I had to nitpick the game for one thing it would be the camera because it can be a bit wonky at times but that's more of a problem with the PSP. Have you played T3B yet? Are you enjoying it as much as I am?

Given that I've already completed the game 7 times and that I've already beaten it on Insane difficulty, yeah, i'm kinda enjoying it.

If you discard the craptastic story that relegates anything PE related to non-existance and creates a plot-hole galore, ridiculous setting; and just focus on the gameplay aspect, then it's a pretty solid game, with tons of challenge and strategic approaches (especially trying to get all the feats on higher difficulties).

T3B is to be regarded as a spinoff of the PE series, rather than being a part of it. Myself, I hope they keep it that way, given that PE1 is my second favourite game of all time.

3DS Flash cart (rumor)

One friend of mine has bought Nintendo 3DS and also a card from a large online store http://www.ps3breakr4.com. Then he asked me if it was worth buying the Nintendo 3DS (with "backups" in mind), so I had a look on the internets, and found this:

There may be a stealth release of firmware soon, so if any one finds flashcarts that allow you to play "backups" for the 3DS, youˋve been warned.

Bear in mind that this is a rumor, and has not been confirmed however it doesseem highly likely to be true. The only way to combat this would really be by using stealth firmware, if itˋs going to be developed any time soon.

For those buying new Nintendo DS products, you may as well get the DSi XL, if you want to play those "backups".

^ wtf

also i like the game so far I had to put in on hold but ill go back to it pretty soon. The mechanics seem fine to me, anything wrong felt like it was held back by the psp not the developer.
