Another reader e-mailed with a similar story. "About two or three days ago, my bank notified me that I had gotten my own [credit card information] stolen, the one I use for my PSN account, and with it a ticket was purchased through a German airline for nearly $600," 


I am very doubtful that anyone smart enough to hack PSN will be stupid enough to buy a flight ticket which requires ID details to be submitted

It's 24. Not much in absolute terms or out of 70 million, admittedly, but you do realize that this confirms that they can very much get your personal information? It doesn't matter if those 70m aren't beng harmed - they can be. And it's on Sony. Lawsuits incoming!

I'm pissed, American express just called me and told me no one tried to use my card, fucking Sony, is it because I'm black.
