Really? They knew that "external interference" had occured serious enough for them to 'take down' a service used by 70 million accounts. They knew how serious it was much earlier. |
No they didn't. They had to get an outside party to do an investigation. That party didn't find out about it till monday.

Overblowing the biggest personal data leak in history?
Overblowing 70 million accounts being completly taken offline?
Overblowing Sony straight up not telling anyone anything about this until well after the hack took place?
Overblowing the fact that there is still a chance credit card info has been stolen?
Listen I'm a Sony fan too but lets face it....They messed up big time.

This. If this was MS or Nintendo, I can't begin to fathom the amount of shit they would get from both the media and the Sony fanboys (which there are a ton of). That said, as much as Sony may be at fault for bad protection/communication, I think the true culprits, the hackers who broke in, are not getting enough attention. Those mofos need to get caught, and FAST before they cause any more collateral damage to other networks. I would hate it if the next time I used my credit card on a "trusted source", say amazon/paypal and then subsequently found out that my cc info has been compromised. |
ARE YOU FUCKIN-------- *looks at post count* lolz my bad my bad
second paragraph is proof of the massive amounts of bullshit
20 articles and 1 of them is about the actual hackers and it's about getting their side of the stroy

What can you do about it? Most of these hackers/thieves are in untouchable places like Russia/Eastern Europe/China/Nigeria who are protected by their corrupt governments. |

Really? Thats why I went out and bought a $400 system and tons of games for it?
Get over it I don't care about your console war I love Sony and they make great games. I don't however defend every single thing they do like a blind man. They've made some horrible choices this generation. But overall have the best 1st party studios in the world.
So please try to act more mature next time and post something of substance.

Even if all that was true which most of it isn't, yes... http://sonyisfucked.blogspot.com/2011/04/psn-related-losses-may-be-worse-than.html

lol I did the same thing.
OT: This is just a simple case of lawyers trying to make a buck off of the U.S. legal system and Sony's incompetence . If this case had anyu validity, I should be expecting 29 checks from Microsoft, 2 from U.S. Bank, 1 from Wells Fargo, 1 from Ebay, and any other company that had a breach in security leaving my information vulnerable, which would probably total a whopping $32.47 that I would would expect to recieve in 2013.
