well like the post said. even if only half of these come true that would be amazing. Either way iam looking forward to E3 we probably shouldnt have all these rumours and speculation going around but, can we help it?

Albion - Its Fun as Ballz !!!!!

Lol. That's a 4Chan post.

xD

Edit: But still, some of these could come true.

Well the list looks good but i want some info on FF 13-2 and Versus 13.

Of course these are only rumors…..but if only half were true…so awesome.

- Nintendo are planning a full reveal of the console, controller and 1st/2nd party games at E3.

- The console is confirmed to be backwards compatible with all Wii/Gamecube titles, and all your VC games will be transferred over once you link your credit card to the system.

- Many 3rd party developers have development kits who are supposedly hard at work to have something to show (and play) at E3.

- 3rd Parties were involved with the development of the console, with requests for what specifications they’d like to see. As of now (which could change) the system runs of a custom built IBM triple-core CPU and has 2gb RAM. The graphics chip is a custom built Radeon R700 chip.

- It will run natively at 1080p.

- The screen on the controller is indeed a 6″ LCD high resolution (reported 640 x 960 pixels) display. However, Nintendo said in order to keep battery life manageable, the controller doesn’t have any hardware to produce graphics itself. The image is simply a video stream directly from the console.

- As reported by other sources, Nintendo is targeting this console to the hardcore gamers once again.

Everything above is expected and reported with other sources

- The new controller slightly resembles a Gamecube controller with a large LCD screen in the middle of it. The controller is light for its size and looks like a tablet with Gamecube-like prongs to the side. It has dual analogue sticks, face buttons, d-pad and shoulder buttons. No triggers were on the device.

this sounds about right, but I'm a bit surprised at the lack of triggers, maybe they're just happy with shoulder buttons but I would of thought triggers would of allowed more in depth FPS's

- The controller uses rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Size of the battery is unknown.

I like this idea, the PS3 controllers are great since I don't need to keep spare AA batteries around the house to replace them

- There is an internal SSD. Size is unknown at this point.

I doubt Nintendo would use a SSD, they are much more expensive than a regular Hard Drive, but if they have them great

- The Wiimote can be used and a new model of Wiimote will be released with the console. This new controller will have overhauled internals allowing for much more precise movement tracking than even the Wiimote Plus had.

I'm not totally sure here, Its good to keep backwards compatible Wiimotes, but if they have two controllers, I can see the original controllers not getting supported due to it not being precise enough, or the new controllers not getting supported due to the amount of old Wiimotes out there

- The Project Cafe system development kit is not representative of the final console design. The console is smaller and resembles the Japanese/European SNES models.

this has been a rumour before, but this sounds awesome, I like the portability of smaller consoles compared to the giants of the PS3/360

- Nintendo have told developers that their online system will be ‘the best online experience’ that’s available on consoles. The whole idea of the machine is to be connected to the internet 24/7. It’s being targeted as an online/social console. Friend codes are gone, but no word on whether the online service will be subscription based.

I certainly hope this is true, but I doubt it

- The Pokemon RPG is the title Nintendo will be showing off their online experience with.

Again, I certainly hope this is true, but I doubt it

- Nintendo is planning on some sophisticated inter-game communication between the 3DS and the console. Nintendo didn’t explain what they’re planning on.

This might be a response to future PS3/PSP2 connectivity, it'll happen eventually so its a fairly safe bet

To be shown at E3:

Nintendo:
- Pikmin 3 (playable, launch title) --After what Pikmin 1/2 relaunch on Wii did, I doubt they'll release it so early in the life of the system, but it could happen as Nintendo have been developing this for years
- Pokemon RPG (video, launch or near launch title) --Nintendo fans dream, but I doubt it'll happen
- Super Mario Bros title (playable) --NSMBWii came out in 2009 so a release in 2013 for the Wii2 version sounds about right, especially since the 3DS is getting a 3D mario in the mean time
- Star Fox (playable) -Doubt this, they hardly did anything to Starfox since the GC, and now they're releasing two games so close to each other, but if they want to revive the franchise on the 3DS, then I guess they need to have a follow up already planned, but playable already?
- Smash Bros 4 (playable) -its been since 2008 when Brawl came out, so this is about right, the hardcore always love SSB
- Mario Kart (video) -its been since 2008 when Mario Kart Wii came out, so this is about right, all gamers love Mario Kart
- Zelda (tech demo) -this I very much doubt, it would take away too much hype away from SS and wouldn't the 3DS Zelda be announced before this one?
- Metroid (tech demo) -previous Nintendo rumours said they were slowly down on Metroid releases, so I'll wait and see here
- New IP (video) -new console, new IP, but with so many established IP's on display, I doubt they would show this off since it'll probably lose a lot of attention too the established IP's

Rockstar Games:
- Red Dead Redemption 2 (video) -sounds great, but isn't it a little soon for RD2?
- Grand Theft Auto “New Title” (video) -I expect GTA5 to be announced, but on a Nintendo system?

Ubisoft:
- Rayman Legends (playable) -this is a certainty
- Red Steel 3 (playable) -I would have thought they would of shelved Red Steel after how badly RS2 sold, but its good they're giving it another go
- New IP (video) -probable

SquareEnix:
- Final Fantasy XV -this is so unlikely, what about FF13-2?

Capcom:
- Resident Evil (video) -after the RE support for the 3DS, its quite possible
- Megaman (video) -after the online success of MM10, then this is quite likely
- Monster Hunter (video) -I would of tought a 3DS announcement would make more sense, but I'll wait and see

EA:
- NBA ’13 (video) -given
- NFL ’13 (video) -given
- NHL ’13 (video) -given

Activision:
- Modern Warfare 3 (video) -I doubt it, but Activision did release MW1 on the Wii, and they love profits, so more consoles make sense

Konami:
- Metal Gear title (video) -so many MGS titles coming out, can they announce more?
- Winning Eleven (video) -given

Namco:
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (playable) -its been a while since Tekken was released, makes sense
- Soul Calibur 5 (video) - again, its been awhile
- Pacman Rebirth (video) -good chance

my comments in bold, the only glaringly bad rumour is FF15, so unlikely

Around the Network

The games list make this rumor pretty hard to swallow

A little too optimistic, don't you think?

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of things on that list that I 'd love, but half of those titles are so unlikely...

Please excuse my bad English.

If true, Red Steel 3 would mean that an emphasis on motion controls is still there

2 GB of RAM would likely make it at least competitive with whatever Sony and Microsoft pitch next, even if they held out two years longer (i couldn't foresee them going with more than 4 for their next consoles, and that would put it at a much more palatable 50% difference to continue multiplatting into the next generation)

Memory is an important factor, lending to the prospects of also getting more PC titles ported over to the system.  Horsepower in the graphic rendering would be an important factor 1080P native is pretty important also.  Ability to migrate downloaded Wii content looks like a plus to me.

I like everything I see here. It perfectly aligns with my two previous threads.

I hope May goes by quick.

jesus, sounds too good to be real, so it's not real

but who knows, Wii 2 was just a rumor and now it's true

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
