The man is probably going to run again!!!! Thank God! If he does we have a chance to fix this country, as long as people aren't dumb-asses and re-elects Obama or votes Trump, or Palin during the primaries!

Republicans, vote Ron Paul during the primaries and make him our leader. He will fix our country, cut our waste, and get us out of oil wars!

Before you get on the Paul train, I suggest you look into his protoge, Gary Johnson.

He shares about 85% of the same views, but held the governors office of New Mexico. He vetoed 750 bills that attempted to expand the size of NM government.

He had a live twitter chat, answering any on-comer's question(s), which even some random guy like myself was able to get a question about his candidacy answered (asked him about foreign policy on Cuba).

Add in the fact he's a lot younger, and looks like he could pummel Obama into a pulp, and I think you have a guy that shares the values of Paul, and advances them as he has a track record of going against the GOP and Dem establishment in tangible ways - far beyond what even Ron has done.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

While in quite a few ways I do like Ron Paul (and I disagree with him strongly in some areas too) I feel he might be too idealistic to make a good or even decent president. I can't see him willing to compromise and without compromise the American government (at least under the current system) would grind to a halt and implode.

Ron Paul would'nt fix anything. I watched him on the colbert show. He does'nt believe in the U.S. dollar.

what he needs to do is close down mcdonalds and all those fat food places, educate the general public, and to jail justin bieber and disney stars for badly influencing kids, making them go on american idol, making us here their lousy voices then their cries when they get rejected.

He also needs to cancel Glee, and make Zubaz pants and fanny packs come back into style.

Ron Paul is a creationist who has no problem using government to intervene in people's daily lives (abortion bans) he's just another Republican who's dressed himself in libertarian clothing.  He's just better at it than anyone else.

I'm voting for Gary Johnson in the republican primaries and will likely vote Obama when he doesn't win that.  Just like I did with Ron Paul in 08

Edit: btw neither of them have a chance, Obama has an extremely good chance of being re-elected.

I think I prefer Ru Paul

Actually no, he has spoken about that. He wants to ban the government from enforcing abortion bans. That was his views at least a year ago. Still, even if that view changed slightly he would shrink the government and its power.

Dr Paul was involved with delivering 4000 babies, so I would understand from a doctor's prospective that has seen childbirth that often to be pro-life. Still even he believes abortion for the not ready or raped needs to exists.

Gary Johnson seems like a good candidate too, I can't vote in the primaries anyways since I'm a libertarian. Still its a battle of Mr. No, Mr. Veto, and Mr. Comb over.
