Treyarch just announced that the new zombies map in the Black Ops “Escalation” map pack is set to feature four big names in the film industry, specifically from several horror movies many of you have seen. This new zombies map, titled, “Call of the Dead” was designed by Mr. George A. Romero himself, also known as “The Godfather of the Zombie”, famous for the original Dawn of the Dead. Hit the break for some awesome screenshots, a trailer, and the names of the cast of the new Zombies map. “Call of the Dead” is set to feature Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger in the originalNightmare on Elm Street), Sarah Michelle Gellar (of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame), Michael Rooker (The Walking Dead) and Danny Trejo (Machete, as well as several other notable films). Those actors will both be lending their voice and their bodies to the game as the four playable characters in the new Zombies map. “Our latest zombie creation, ‘Call of the Dead’ , is unreal!” says Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “We set out to create an exciting new zombie experience for fans of the genre that takes Zombies to an insane new level.” The “Escalation” map pack is set to come out on May 3rd for the Xbox 360 and around a month later for the PC and PS3 and will feature four new multiplayer maps as well as the aforementioned Zombies map.
