im wanting to pre-order Infamous 2 from amazon, and use the $20 credit that i got from portal

but currently there is no pre-order credit bunus for INfamous.

So i was wondering, if i pre-order inFAMOUS now (since my $20 credit is about to expire), and then say a week before inFAMOUS releases, they give a $20 credit for the game, will is still get the credit, or do i loose out since i pre-ordered earlier?

ps. everyone needs to get inFAMOUS

If you use that credit now and pre-order inFamous 2 they will honor that purchase for 20 dollars off, but if you cancel the order I think it will go away. Also if Amazon offers a 10 dollar or 20 dollar pre-order credit for inFamous 2 you will get that in the future.

Amazon always honors the lowest price and all promotions on pre-orders.

so say i pre-ordered Uncharted right now, would i get the potential pre-order bonus in a few months.

(i wont be pre-ordering UC3 now because im waiting for the special edition)

If you pre-order now, and they offer a bonus for Uncharted 3 in the future, you WILL get that credit. That is of course if you actually buy the game when it launches.

I don't think that's right.

I remember I preordered something on Amazon (can't remember what it was, Kinect maybe?) and then some time after the preorder they offered a preorder bonus and I wasn't able to get the bonus without cancelling my previous order.

I've never had an issue. You should have contacted Amazon customer service, they are quick and they have always helped me quickly.
