I saw the wall, I had pain.

It was like you took the PS2 and removed all the good games and left the rest.

You're pretty brave saying that lol.  Keep the flame shield raised.

Since when is agreeing with Nintendo fans in a Nintendo thread considered brave?

Noted, but I see alot of Ninty fans that refuse to say the Wii has a questionable library, often citing that PS2 has a lot of crap on it too, which I think is missing the point a bit...but yeah lol.

I think wii had a questionable third party library, but when it comes to first party, it was one of the best nintendo first party efforts.

Add: The only thing missing is a good zelda game specifically made for the console.

And that's coming soon lol.  I just meant overall library though, I feel like sometimes Ninty fans get defensive because people compare it too PS2 saleswise, but then people respond gameswise.  Third parties just did nothing to help, what can you do?

I agree with launch and agree with most of the rest, I don't think good nintendo games help sell third party games though at most it keeps them playing the system and in the market for more games but not by much, but at the same time, a ton of good 1st party games never hurt anyone and what Nintendo is doing with the 3DS is just plain stupid, the hting has enough things going against it within them crippling the launch line-up, third parties are going to be making more good games for the npg then the 3DS thats just the way it's going to be, they shouldn't be trying to appeal to them, what they should of done is made dev kits hard to get so the people who actually want to make something good get first crack at it

Today I am going to tackle another myth regarding the neverending "third party games don't sell on Nintendo systems" argument

tl;dr

In order to sell, the games must first exist. We all know the Wii has no gamez.

Yeah for example look at all those million selling fightning 3rd party games on Wii that followed Smash Bross

or all those multimilion selling racing games than came after Mario Kart ;)

I don't know if you're being naive here, or simply trolling. Where are those good games? Capcom was satisfied with the Tatsunoko sales, being a second rate game, and there is it for good fighting games. If you consider nascar kart racing, o mysims racing good racing games, you are delusional, and I don't want to talk about Dirt 2 or Need for Speed underground sales, they don't deserve more than 2 or 3, they are completely horrible games.Even the not so complete disaster of games that are Formula 1 09 (being a PSP port) or the other Need for Speed games sold rather good numbers.

If they don't develop first tier games for the Wii, they can't ask for AAA sales.

I'm doing neither.

I'm calling bullshit on the theory that good first party software can sale third party games.

Good first party games sell good third party games, not the aberrations third party provide to the wii userbase.

Nintendo should have just released a single AAA first party, it would have helped everyone.

That wall of shame made me almost puke..... There were about 3 games worthy of buying, most of them just plain sucked.

Why? The man speaks the truth!

(The list is for 3rd parties)

Those 3rd party games should be at least comparable to the first party games they try to take advantage of

If there was a worthy racing game similar in quality to MKWii, I'd have bought it by now (heck I even bought Sonic & Sega Racing hoping it would be decent)
