Good to hear! Galaxy is completely deserving, by far the best game I have ever played. I didn't expect GameSpot to get something right! :O

I hope IGN gives Galaxy GOTY too....they're the best site....usually.

I doubt IGN would give bioshock goty, it didn't even get 360 goty (call of duty 4 did)

I'm just happy the big three franchises from Nintendo hold the top 3 spots review wise at Gamerankings.

Even if no one gave Galaxy GotY the Average reviews say otherwise.

Bioshock was a great game, and if you like shooters would certainly be a best title for the year. However, the market is saturated with them this makes Galaxy far more original.

I loved MP3. It is controls better than any console FPS that I've ever played and really is just a touch below keyboard and mouse. The reason a lot of reviewers probably don't mention it is probably because it plays much more like an adventure game than a traditional FPS. It's also going up against Galaxy in most award categories and that's not easy.

Still, I really, really hope that Nintendo puts out an FPS using the MP3 control scheme because that would be incredible.

I'm pretty surprised if this is true, GoTY is usually voted on by the editors who tend to vote for whatever game they like the best, and most of that staff is *very* into their 360's and blood-and-guts shooters.
