E3 2011: Your're more hyped about??

Sony NGP 78 23.85%

First year 3DS games 16 4.89%

Next generation of MOVE/Kinect games 7 2.14%

Nintendo Cafe 162 49.54%

Other Games 55 16.82%

Nothing 9 2.75%

Total:327

I'm actually pretty unenthusiastic about this year's E3. I'm interested in seeing some Café games, but I know that unless there's a 2D Metroid game in the launch line-up, (Yeah, that's totally gonna happen) I just won't be buying one anytime soon after launch.

And since I've decided to start avoiding all TLG footage, the only things that really interest me, besides the inevitably few new announcements I'll actually care about, are Street Fighter X Tekken, Bioshock Infinite, and Skyward Sword.

NGP and the nintendo Latte

lol latte!

i voted NGP cause i still fill its to early for a new console(Wii2), but project Mocha Java would have to be second followed by move as i expect lots of games for the divce to be shown.

Anyone voting for anything but the next Nintendo is simply a fanboy... not a gamer.

The rumors on this are far more exciting than anything else announced.

Games are to be expected on every console and the NGP is simply a more powerful PSP with a dual touch screen we all already know all about.

However, the Nintendo system is the only truly unknown thing and the potential of it is very exciting.

what a load of BS in one post 0_o are you friggin kidding me?

IF someone never really liked Ninty games they would not give a rats ass about the new system. For example I am looking forward to hearing more about NGP than the Cafe, easily. I will most certainly buy the device and can't wait to learn more about the HW AND the SW for it. Cafe to me just the next console from a company who has rarely made any games on the home consoles to entice me.

again some of you fans get your hype > others BS confused with reality. and frankly it's annoying. A true gamer will respect that not everyone would care equally. and going as far as calling others fanboys? geez get over yourself

Don't have to be a fanboy to not really be excited for something unlikely to directly affect you, I'm much more excited to see more of a game I'll be playing first possible second rather than a console I might not even buy.   Wii 2 stuff will be interesting but I'm not going to be hyped for the successor to something I was dissapointed in (bought a Wii because I assumed it would get a bunch of JRPGs, not a mistake I'll make again).

Hell, consoles are just those things that we use to play games, so that would make you not a gamer because you're more excited to see the newest piece of plastic and electronics over the next games you'll get to play ^^

did superchunk just call me a fanboy? can't vote for something i no little to nothing about

second paragraph i couldn't agree more.

Anyone who votes for something that is not in line with my opinion is a fanboy?

The irony of your post is just... wow

Spot-on. Every day more and more people appear to care about hardware more than the actual games.

Reminds me of those unboxing videos that focus more on the plastic wrappings than the actual product.

Guess my post was biased towards how I think about stuff as I consider myself a general gamer.

It doesn't matter that its  Nintendo system, more so that's its a new system that no one really knows anything factual about. All we have is rumors that, to me, would lead a lot of gamers to be very interested in seeing the outcome.

Especially considering all the buzz its getting, I think that assumption is right.

So, for someone to not be most hyped to see this new console seems to me to not be a gamer but more of a Playstation or 360 gamer/fanboy.

For someone to not be interested because its "Nintendo" and that Nintendo is a certain way no matter what. However, had this been a Sony or MS set or rumors (based solely on their fanboy allegance) they'd be hyped.

Well, newsflash, if this is as powerful as rumored with the features given, it will have not only Nintendo games, but also all the same games PS360 get.... albeit prettier (as its more powerful with more technologies) and potentially with better local multiplayer as well as enhanced for the controller screen which could be really awesome. So deciding that this is for you while baseing solely on Nintendo name is absurd at this point and, to me, a sign of being a fanboy.

To me you answered this post exactly as that. You are not interested because its "Nintendo" and to you Nintendo is a certain way no matter what. However, had this been a Sony or MS set or rumors (based solely on your fanboy allegance) you'd be hyped. Notice you only mentioned Nitnendo games....

I know your post is directed at Mugen, but considering you called me a fanboy (a derogatory term that I'm shocked you haven't been banned for saying) I think I have the right to speak up on this post.

Your entire argument is that people are fanboys because they don't hold the same level of intense interest for a console that you do... Srsly, what is more pompous than such a thought? I'm a fanboy because my tippy top of interest is not for a console with a giant "?" as opposed to a console I know I'll love and have an interest in knowing more about? The nerve of me.

I have a different idea for you. Maybe people simply have a differing opinion than you do. And maybe they aren't fanboys for harboring such opinions. I mean OMG maybe someone doesn't like Nintendo games as much as they like Sony/MS games. Perhaps playing halo reach online is more fun to someone than jumping goomba heads, perhaps? If so, how will these opinions effect the responses of a thread entitled:

"E3 2011: Your're more hyped about??"

We'd probably see things how they are now... With Halo fans wondering about the possibilities of a Halo: Combat Evolved remake in "Other games", Sony fans interested in how their favorite IPs will be handled on the NGP and Nintendo fans interested in the reveal of a new console that will be able to play the newest Zelda, Mario, and more Mario. Basically, gamers caring about their own gaming interests and what they know they should be excited about as opposed to some garbage objectifying of who has to like what.

Hell, we might even see a few posts calling people fanboys because others voted for something that isn't 'in-line' with their way of thinking... we just might.
