Guess my post was biased towards how I think about stuff as I consider myself a general gamer.

It doesn't matter that its  Nintendo system, more so that's its a new system that no one really knows anything factual about. All we have is rumors that, to me, would lead a lot of gamers to be very interested in seeing the outcome.

Especially considering all the buzz its getting, I think that assumption is right.

So, for someone to not be most hyped to see this new console seems to me to not be a gamer but more of a Playstation or 360 gamer.

To me you answered this post exactly as that. You are not interested because its "Nintendo" and to you Nintendo is a certain way no matter what. However, had this been a Sony or MS set or rumors (based solely on your fanboy allegance) you'd be hyped. Notice you only mentioned Nitnendo games....

Well, newsflash, if this is as powerful as rumored with the features given, it will have not only Nintendo games, but also all the same games PS360 get.... albeit prettier (as its more powerful with more technologies) and potentially with better local multiplayer as well as enhanced for the controller screen which could be really awesome. So deciding that this is for you while baseing solely on Nintendo name is absurd at this point and, to me, a sign of being a fanboy.

I know your post is directed at Mugen, but considering you called me a fanboy (a derogatory term that I'm shocked you haven't been banned for saying) I think I have the right to speak up on this post.

Your entire argument is that people are fanboys because they don't hold the same level of intense interest for a console that you do... Srsly, what is more pompous than such a thought? I'm a fanboy because my tippy top of interest is not for a console with a giant "?" as opposed to a console I know I'll love and have an interest in knowing more about? The nerve of me.

I have a different idea for you. Maybe people simply have a differing opinion than you do. And maybe they aren't fanboys for harboring such opinions. I mean OMG maybe someone doesn't like Nintendo games as much as they like Sony/MS games. Perhaps playing halo reach online is more fun to someone than jumping goomba heads, perhaps? If so, how will these opinions effect the responses of a thread entitled:

"E3 2011: Your're more hyped about??"

We'd probably see things how they are now... With Halo fans wondering about the possibilities of a Halo: Combat Evolved remake in "Other games", Sony fans interested in how their favorite IPs will be handled on the NGP and Nintendo fans interested in the reveal of a new console that will be able to play the newest Zelda, Mario, and more Mario. Basically, gamers caring about their own gaming interests and what they know they should be excited about as opposed to some garbage objectifying of who has to like what.

Hell, we might even see a few posts calling people fanboys because others voted for something that isn't 'in-line' with their way of thinking... we just might.
