Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

LOL, I haven't seen it, but just the name seems ridiculous (though it also makes me wanna see it for some reason).

actually the name is misleading, it is certainly not one of the "so bad they are good" movies. it got a great cast, and some people may hold it in high regard. I saw it during a a "surprise preview" and i just thought it had a terrible script and stole me what  felt like 12 hours of my life. it was also the only movie yet i would have walked out of the cinema, but i was someones ride.

Hmmm, I'll check it out anyways. I could never get into the whole "so bad it's good" type of movies anyways.

Transformers 2. My friends invited me to the midnight opening, and I even though I knew the movie was not going to be good, at least I expected it to be entertaining. The movie was total shit. The story didn't even make sense, the dialogue was crap, and the "acting" wasn't any better. I fell asleep halfway through, and if I had not depended on my friends for a ride home, I would have left the theater.

I've seen plenty of bad movies, and this is the latest:

I have seen plenty of bad movies but I would have to say the worst ones I ever saw were Baby Geniuses and Flubber.  The sad part is that Baby Geniuses was directed by Bob Clark, who directed A Christmas Story while Flubber has John Hughes as the writer.  I also heard that the sequel to Baby Geniuses is even worse.  Not to mention that a talented writer like John Hughes somehow started writing terrible movies in the 90s.

Holy fuck they actually made something like that?

But i would have to say Date Movie. First of the "______ Movie" line after the Scary Movie series, and i was quite readily fooled into watching that crap.

The thing is i'm very choosy about watching movies in the theatre, so i see most movies when they hit cable 2-plus years later

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
