Sure, but if the quality just isn't there (which you already conceded to), then the size of the userbase really doesn't matter. |
well goldeneye got good reviews. by the looks of it the game got some effort. should have sold more. yes when it comes to the userbase of the wii it shoudnt really matter because of the demographic of the audience, but golden eye and bo selling one million as well as just dance 2 selling very wll and other dancing/fitness games doing well shoudnt impress us. considering the sucess of ea sports active and just dance one would expect those sales for the dance games and fitness games, and considering refelx passed a million it was expected that bo would reach it same thing for golden eye giving its reviews. the only surprise was epic mickie, and it was a minor one.

he used god of war.
im talking about 3rd party wii games and specifically non fitness/dance/party games.
what do average sales for god of war have to do with the wii, its not like all 1st party sony games had those sales. and its not like al 3rd party games also had those sales.

LOL WTF. It's the same situation.
Why is it different for a Sony console than it is on a Nintendo console?

Ah, yes. That makes sense.

86 million userbase. |
The sales of Just Dance 2, Epic Mickey, and Michael Jackson are great even considering the userbase size.
Zumba and the Sims 3 are much higher than the 360/PS3 versions.
Udraw is doing good for a new IP
Black Ops is doing well for such a gimped version
Goldeneye is also doing pretty good, much better than the PS2 Goldeneye
These 3rd party games were all pretty good sales IMO
Most anticipated games of 2011:
Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith
Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

Games on a 140 million userbase don't necessarily sell 10m each - Games on a 86 million userbase don't necessarily sell 6mil each - - - - How are the examples different?

where do i talk about 6 million sales for 3rd party wii games.
i dont, his god of war comment was useless because it didnt represent the sales of 3rd party or 1st party ps2 games.

original relfex passed a million so goldeneye and bo reaching that isnt impressive.
only epic mickey impressive, thats also considering that everyone had low expectations for it.
and in my original post i only talked about the non dance/fitness games.
