1.05 made the damage similar to MW2.

Okay, I haven't played Uncharted 2 MP after 1.05 and never played MW2 so I still don't know how the damage works or why it's bad.

The reduced player health, so guns like the AK (starter weapon) that required a good aim to keep hitting target were turned into noob weapons that everyone can get an easy kill with, it also made playing objective games less fun since if you want to get the treasure you are a much easier kill, it results in more players just camping and kill farming players with lower health going for the objective.  This wasn't like this in 1.04 and before because if someone tried camping for kills they could never kill you fast enough before you could get to cover unless they had a power weapon.

In short, it turned to game into a skilless camp/kill-farm for most matches.

Yep,  and this was just at lower/medium levels of play.

Get to the higher levels, and you also got SA and glitchers.

Even Deathmatch becomes borderline unplayable at that point.

I agree, situational awareness sucks. That's one of the reasons why I couldn't get into the online. SA is the dumbest thing ever. It ruins any hope for stealth in the game. That's why I mainly played co-op and rarely played competetive.

Hey! Here are some players that show a great skill advantage over the other players. Cool, lets give them the ability to see the weaker players through walls. Great idea!

I'm still going to give U3 a try though!

So your saying that you enjoy taking forever to kill someone than cod controlls. Befor 1.05 I would barely get 7-8 in a match becuase I would run out of bullets and die. After 1.05 I got around 15-20 kills per match with a KD around 1.4. I agree it kind of made the game nube but compare it wasn't as bad as your talking about. I never really seen too many people camping so I don't get why you guys are making such a big deal out of it.

BAD

-Damage seems to be just like U2 1.05 update, something that MANY people hated and complained about. This was the single biggest game breaker for me and pushed me to stop playing.

-Buddy Spawn System could be a complete mess. It worked in games like BFBC2 and KZ2 because they have massive maps, but in U3 I am highly skeptical about this.

no, just a very vocal tiny minority.

its just that people like to bitch about everything, they cant please everyone always. no mater what they do to "improve" the multi people will always complain

Bullshit, nearly the entire ND forum hated it.

Again, the minority, I doubt there's over 4 million people that actually visit the Naughty Dog forums, the majority of people that own the game have more than likely never even visited the site lol, therefore still in the minority :)

Yep, and 4 million users also don't sign on each day to play U2 MP.  Back when I last signed on(Last December), they were only averaging 40,000 users a day.  Now, there's a thread on the NDog forums complaining about waiting up to 8-10 minutes just to find a match, even with an excellent internet connection.

I too agree, most of the casuals that buy games just play them once, and never give a shit about them ever again yet they think they're entitled to an opinion about what should be changed or not.

What game do you see 4 million people on? 40,000 to 50,000k is excellent for a game to that came out 1 and a half year ago. I have to say that many people did complain but people got over it in just a few days. It wasn't really that bad other than the fact it was too much like COD. But after seeing the UC3 beta trailer it looks a lot different than COD and a lot like Gears and Killzone 3 so....... I'm defintly picking this game up.

oh man...every U3 news thread i just want to write the same...that its gonna be the best GOTY i love Sony 1st PArty etc...and this time...this is of course again the case ^^

Oh man good or bad... I cannot wait! I am going to purchase Infamous day 1 so I can try to get a sure spot in the beta, and this will be a day 1 purchase for me, much like Uncharted 2 was. Even with the good and the bad, when it comes to the Uncharted series the Good always FAR outweighs the bad.

Oh and on a side note, what is this talk about a damage problem? I've been playing Uncharted 2 online for over a year now and never heard anyone complain in game about the damage. And to be honest, I've never seen it in any forum. Not that it hasn't been in here before, I've just never seen it. With a 3rd person shooter, idk, seems fine to me.

If I'm honest, the infamous "1.05 killed the game" crowd have been on my sights for ages but I agree, the game is fine to me, no idea what people are complaining about.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

What im trying to say is the 40k to 50k people playing UC2 everyday should be the #1 people Naughty Dog should be listening to for ideas on multiplayer and the people who take time to go on their forums everyday to discuss UC3, Not the "Majority" who just whines about a game they don't like to begin with or could care less about. This goes back to the majority minority thing that guy was talking about. This also perfectly describes my feelings about how zipper changed and fucked everything about somag 4. KZ3 is another example of this.
