1.05 made the damage similar to MW2.
It's not the "minority" who complained. Most people stopped playing the game completely and the online players count proves that.
1.05 did NOT make it a better game.
*sigh*. I remember when games required skill. Now it's about "how can we make this game easier for 10 year olds".
really disappointed in this.

no, it didnt, the health was nothing like mW2. i stopped playing in november, and it still took like a clip to kill somebody.
no matter what they do, people like you complain. well at least internet gaming site visitors arent the average UC player.

There is some truth to what he's saying, but then again the loss of players could be attributed to simply gamers going to other games, such as COD.
However, the 1.05 patch did destroy the gamebattles following they were generating with 1.04. But then again, with the bunny hopping and SA booster, that was going to happen regardless of what they did with the health.
Also, from the trailer, it is VERY difficult to make out what the health is anyway. If you really wanted to complain about something they got from COD, then start with the unbalanced kickbacks.
For those who don't know the story:
1.04 update happened, and shortly afterwords, a couple of very vocal forum posters on the NDog forums, decided to complain about too much health.
So, NDog ran a poll on their website, which gave a few the select choices that can be roughly translated to: "Would you mind if there was less health?" Yes? No? and maybe?
The poll was somewhat confusing in actuality, which caused many forums to vote for the "and maybe" choice. NDog, somehow, interpreted this as "They do want less health! People are to hard to kill!" and thus 1.05 happened.
1.05 supposively upped damaged on all weapons, which:
made the starting weapons less usesless, but then again, rolling became less effective, as many would be dropped from across the map before they could adequately find cover.
Over taxed the spawn system, which was acutally pretty good on 1.04 (for a shooter) and now with more deaths in the same frame of time, many were spawn killed, or killed of someone who spawned behind them. (N.Dogs attempts to remedy this only made it worse overtime)
Ultimately, this caused an uproar amongst the dedicated U2 players at the time. Because this was a drastic change after the release of the game and was forced upon them.
couple that with the evolution of the metagame that degraded what was left, (thanks to bunny hopping, greater lag, glitching, meh dlc by and large, over usuage of Situational Awareness booster) and you have a relatively dead MP outside of deathmatch.
I would not be too concerned with U3 Multiplayer until after the beta is on your PS3's harddrive though.
So, save all your hating until the release. (except for the regain health 70% faster booster, that one you should complain about)
