Nintendo dominating with wii over x360/ps3 in term of hardware sales, but in near future, wii many owners(not those who bought wii like a toy for wii sport and wii play) still will go for x360/ps3 for HD experience.

Hardcore gamers will have x360 and buy ps3.
But not every owner/gamer of x360 or ps3 will go buy ps3 or x360.

Wii in reality just on another boat(it`s not a nextgen in terms of HD). The real competition is between x360 and ps3.

But yeah, for TOTAL domination, PS3 should also outsell and Wii, but that kinda impossible, PRICE difference + auditory difference, Unless Wii will run out of steam, or Sony will move more on Eye Toy HD, Singstar and other "games", which are about FUN and nothing more, then and here ps3 could make some progress.

2008 will show how thing will go on. If PS3 will reach ~25-30 mln. shipments by the end of march 2009, then it ATLEAST reached the level of PS2 SUCCESS. =)

I don`t know many people who wouldn`t buy wii for 99-149$ and even less people who wouldn`t buy PS3 80GB for 199-249$. =) Time will show.

 Difference is many wii owners don't care for HD graphics and just want to have fun, also the rest of the industry is trying to copy Wii trying to reach out to untapped markets, Nintendo has once again saved the industry from stagnation and forced the other companies to fight on its terms

well, to be exactly, it`s sony started wit PS Eye toy, and then Nintendo figured out to control game with wii mote, and not just hands.
with proper advertising, PS3 can bring a lot of FUN to those casuals, who bought wii. =)

Sony need to seriously advertise the Playstation eye, wii sales will die hard with that.

Graphics have never won a generation, ever. The closest we ever saw to that happening was in the 16-bit era, and even there, the SNES was technically out-muscled visually by a number of high-end systems. The highest-quality system graphics-wise, in fact, usually ends up dead last. See: Intellivison and Colecovision vs. Atari 2600, Sega Master System vs. NES, many early CD-based consoles like the CD-i vs. SNES, XBOX and GameCube vs. PS2, etc. The percentage of the gaming populous that cares about graphics over gameplay can realistically be postulated to be considerably less than the majority, given the historical trends.

 Afraid not, first off Eye toy is not a part of the system, it is a perhipheral, also at the price PS3 and Eye toy is most would never buy, and it lacks the software that Wii has.

Also Motion sensing has been around since power glove, it just didn't work as well in the past 

 For one, the term "hardcore" in describing a gamer has really been misused. "Hardcore" gamers the way you define care about graphics and power, but I see it the total opposite. A hardcore gamer should be the gamer that doesnt care about graphics at all, they care about how good the game is, whether it is "kiddy" or a "hardcore" bloody game. It shouldnt matter. What you described, is a superficial gamer. A gamer who cares about how pretty the game looks and doesnt look deeper. That is why "hardcore" superficial gamers are the minority, because they care about things that dont matter. I  am a gamer, and would prefer SNES games to todays, so am I a casual because I dont care about graphics or POWER. No, im a real hardcore gamer.

Secondly, saying that the Wii isnt competing with PS3 and 360 is just making an excuse for the Wii to be not winning the race, and the other two are. Its stupid. Its one industry, they all compete agaisnt each other no matter how hard you try to look past it. Its like saying that Toyota isnt competing with Cadillac because they cater to different people. No, its the same industry and they do compete. If one person buys a Wii instead of a 360/PS3, they are affecting the industry. So dont use that lame excuse just to make it seem that the Wii isnt having success compared to the other two.

 I seriously doubt it. Sony had the PS Eye with the PS2 as well, and it didnt have that much success or else the PS3 have been pushing it far more from the get go.

They playstation eye(eye toy F you) is more advanced that the wii mote, and sony could do millions of games for it. Just needs to make that 1 million. Its getting there though. About 5 games out for it now.

 Bundle it, create lots of good games and lower the price to the right level and you might, but its not going to happen
