Good news for those who care, but i just want Infamous 2, don't really care too much about the save carrying over. I didn't like the first one and its whole Karma system was jacked so its not a big deal.

lolwut?

Its karma system was all over the place, not too involving and nothing like the decisions in Mass Effect or any RPG for the matter. It ultimately didn't really matter if you were good or bad beyond different color lightning, thus i do not care for carrying over decisions that didn't mean much in the first place. It was broken.

Did you even beat the game? Because if you did, then you must have played it with a blindfold, or with plugs in your ears. Tell me you finished the game so that i could list out everything the karma does in the game. Please do it. I wouldn't wanna spoil anything for you if you have not.

Is this the part where you tell me Infamous was a deep game filled with indepth choices that really impacted your character and the plot? because it was not and if you think it is i must direct you to some PC games where Karma actualy carries some sort of meaning and actualy alters the story. The karma was thrown in there sloppy, it was perhaps one of the most meaningless Karma systems i have seen. Basicaly the same crap happened and didn't really matter what you chose with your limited choices or not. It was as broken as the combat system it was as basic as Fable's karma system if not more. Your biggest choices was whether you wanted red lightning and people to hate you or not. I am hoping this one gets it right, but Infamous is an action game not an RPG i don't expect its Karma system to be anything but a gimmick. I am very much interested in the sequel, i didn't like the original at all.

I sold Infamous to a friend. I never expected to play it again d=so i got rid of it. I dont need a million save files of the games i dont own... trust me. I would have a lot more than 200kb

I always delete my save files, once I beat a game,to make room for other games. I'm curious to know what the infamous 1 save would do in the second game though.

Yes, it is the part where i tell you that it is a deep game filled with choices lololol. Nah, its not a very deep game, but saying that the karma system is broken is just ridiculous. I never said it implented Karma best, but is it broken? No.

SPOILERS

THE same crap happened? LOL

The way Trish feels about you is completly different

The way Kessler feels about you is also different

the way Sasha feels about you is different

The way the missions are played are different

THe way the city behaves and looks is different

Some of the Comic scenes are different

inFAMOUS is a game about how everyone acts towards you and it drastically changes if you play evil. You never even hear from Sasha in the game unless you are evil and then she shows that straight out loves you even more if you do. Tons of missions are missed if you play only as one karma. The way trish dies is one of the most important parts of the game, and whether she loves you or not is huge because the whole time you were trying to get her back.

And the combat? LOL

What was wrong with the combat now? Please tell me. I thought the everything was fine. Oh, and please bring examples next time instead of repeatedly saying "The karma sucks".

Exactly but NONE of it effects the story in a big way at all, the same stuff happens. Thats a huge reason why I like the guys above would love to see how they're going to implement this since no matter what you did everything was the same in the first one. It doesn't matter whether you're nice or evil to Trish. It doesn't matter who you choose to save she still dies. The karma system is broken there is no real benefit or reward to being Evil or Good beyond people Hating/Throwing rocks at you or liking you and having different color lightning. Its very basic, its very light it felt like it was just there as a gimmick rather than actualy being useful.

The combat didn't make the game interesting, it was styled like a TPS, in a super hero game i want more freedom and mechanics beyond a mere TPS. It was a sandbox game but its gameplay made it feel more like a more linear game. This is why i'm interested in the sequel they seemed to listen to the complaints added MORE enemy variety, diverse combat, Car throwage (or well, levitation). It now looks like a full fledged action pack super hero game and not a TPS disquised as one.
