Wasn't the release date for Devil May Cry even sooner?

All those games did come out first.  But GTAIII outsoild them all and is considered by many to be the systems first 'AAA' title.  Or in other words, why they bought the system.

Of course, its not like that across the board.  Many people bought the PS2 for MGS2 or FFX.  But a lot more seemed to buy it for GTAIII.

You please show me ONE quote where GTAIII is mentioned as the first AAA title. 

Just admit your wrong and move on.

And before you try to use semantics to say I'm still wrong, we already clarified there's a difference between 'AAA' and 'System Seller'.  What I meant was it was the biggest system seller for the first year of PS2 lifetime.  Hence why I said 'Or in other words, why they bought the system.'.

2.Ok, so 'biggest system seller for the first year' means that it launched a whole four days before ps2 2nd birthday...

But I like the fanfare for VII the best =(

FFVI had better music in every other way, but I liked the fanfare and overworld for FFVII better.  That's about all FFVII did right so don't take that away from it.  Also, I am playing FFVII right now which is why I mostly picked it.
