You must think I'm a terrible player if you think I came up with that abomination of an eventual claim. However, I do know firsthand that even if given a great start for fakeclaims, ABC can botch them.

Anyway, I never said he's town for sure. I was just not comfortable lynching him today. I thought he was confirmable based on the first few things he said. It's much more of a gray area now, but he's still off my list of lynch candidates.

Already ABC has come under heavy suspicion from a few players, so obviously if any of them die and flip a power they're stating they didn't visit ABC. When numbers begin to dwindle then yes it's smart to force the issue, as in someone will claim they visited or nobody speaks up and he's confirmed scum. It's different from having everyone claim some scum role to evade that type of kill for a night. It's using the night actions as they were actually designed.

Same to the second. No, if such a player exists, they should come forward if they believe the time is right. As I said early on after the claim, since ABC wasn't killed, roleblocked, or poisoned, the player that targeted him is very likely a townie. There's no reason this early on to out a town power unless they have any damning evidence, and given they targeted ABC(who was a strong lynch candidate after day one, and thus undeserving of any protection) they should come forward with such information if it exists. Everyone has yet to check in, but the absense of anyone claiming such is also a nudge towards town in my eyes.

As I said, a scum role that knows who targets them is like a mafia cop on steroids. They could draw actions and know all of the town powers(though not who is what admittedly) without any guesswork involved.
