Someone can go search this up so I won't have to role claim

I get random information about players that can be anything like "X Player is cop" to "You were targeted this night". If this game was dark I would have not been able to be targeted last night.

So all you know is someone targeted you? You don't know who it was or what he or trash did? That isn't very helpful.

You did say it's unless you are being fucked over but you don't even bother saying types of things that could mess you up. What you know and how you know what you know could be worth loosing your abilities for a night. Only you can decide that but saying you know why something happened but not telling us why already makes you a target for scum (the biggest draw back) while not giving the town all the info.

As in the information I get is supposed to be intentionally vague, but from the examples I've seen on my role it could sometimes be "This player is X".

It's pointless to be coy about your role at this point.  Like Wonk said, what are you hoping to achieve by making us go look for the role name based on your description?  What is the purpose of revealing like 70% of your role and leaving the town twisting in the wind for the other 30% when the mafia almost certainly has enough info to decide what to do about you already?  (If, that is, you aren't one, which I am seriously doubting.) 

Also, I don't understand what you mean by the last sentence.  I mean, isn't a "dark" game one where the flips aren't revealed?  What could that possibly have to do with people's ability to target you? 

Perhaps he wants us to "fill in the blanks" to make his role claim more believable.  Getting us to invest in his claim would make us more likely to buy it -- a clever move if it had been done better.
