Good to see that you've changed your mind in the end, instead of voting outright, but the jump that you've made, past the FoS and HoS is still kinda suspicious.

also WTF? why is it good that I didn't vote for Wonk in the end? what did he do to deserve your trust?

I am neutral on him, it's your suspicions of him that are a bit alien to me. You dropped in and left a vote, on god knows what reason, so what if he's insisting on a vanilla game? If you believe that reason warranted a vote then I think you're way too paranoid on the matter. Although I do agree that this game is not likely to be vanilla, it does not warrant to go as far as voting for the person.

I didn't say anything because I skim read it on my phone and was unable to post my thoughts on it at the time :/. This site does not allow posting, only viewing on the site. What I found peculiar at the time that you just vote Wonk on the spot, even though no one except for you did, nor do I think there were any FoS or even HoS beforehand(pardon if I missed one or two posts)

I think you'd find that me giving the "voting example"  as a hypothesis, that if I wanted to make myself seem like such a pro for spotting scum from a mile off, I could just vote everyone straight off and claim credit, it's not defensiveness more of a sarcasm.

If your posts are not indication of defensiveness I don't know what is, and if you think that mine was defensive then yours can be classed as err.. uber defensive.

Way to avoid the quote where you clearly see my vote and the reasonning below it. It has nothing to do with him prefering a vanilla game.

and no my posts are not defensive because I have noting to defend against, what are you accusing me of? voting early then unvoting? yeah that warrants a defence ^^. The part you seem to see as uber only looks to you because it is directed at you, that's because it's accusing you of appropriating ideas, not following events correctly and, as you just did again, missinterpret facts to your own benefit (saying I voted for him wanting vanilla and disregarding the reasons posted just a line below the actual vote).

(since I haven't been modkilled or replaced yet and I had time to skim the thread I thought I'd add my tuppence worth. Hope that's okay. I'll try to do it as long as you guys don't mind the intermittent apeparances and I haven't been modkilled. I'm happy to try to play like this a couple more days until I'm home and have internet, I just wasn't sure how you guys would feel about playing with someone who isn't here much. But if a replacement can be found then by all means go ahead with it).

What I personally find baffling linkz is how active you are this game, last game you posted rarely and didn't do so untill prompted by Hatmoza(?) I think, not sure who exactly. I am liking the activity but the constant questioning and pouncing on even the tiniest details does seem suspicious to me.

And yes I am aware you got SK'd the first night last game, but you barely poste during the first day anyway, in comparison with today.

I already explained why I was so "inactive" last round, but as TOS had pointed out I still had decent activity considering I wasn't even at a computer for ~45 hours of the ~48 hour day.

Enlighten me, which tiny details am I pouncing on?

Okay, just so I have this straight. The vote wasn't serious, which you are reinforcing by saying you didn't want him lynched? Why then did you include a serious accusation?

why are you putting words in my mouth?

the vote was serious but I thought a HoS was more appropriate considering the early hours (that and Wonk has reacted in improper to my vote as town in the past so it's not necessarely the appropriate presure method on him).

I'm not saying "I didn't want him lynched", i'm saying it's day one and there's no reason that seem to me as warranting a lynch on anyone yet, even more so a couple 100 of posts ago.

You'd prefer me to HoS the people I didn't have a serious accusation of?

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth, hence the questions. I was trying to understand your thought process correctly.

I still think the unvote was unnecessarely, especially if you think Wonk would react improperly to it if he were town. Waiting for a similar reaction could give you a tell. I agree that it was far too early to actually want anyone lynched,(though I'd say now it's no longer the case) but I'll once again say Wonk was in no danger of that happening.

The HoS isn't a problem, if that had been your initial move. I liked the vote, as I had been thinking the same thing about Wonk. It's simply the quick unvote that irked me.

Oh trashleg, you're either an overly paranoid townie afraid of trusting me again, or you're scum trying to discredit me. I've already explained why I danced around explaining why I voted.

I for one can deal with the limited activity for a while until you're home and have internet. It's not like you're the only one that's pretty much missing in action.

Sitting around quitely absorbing the way the game is played. Starting to get some ideas on who is who.

Ask me about being an elitist jerk

Time for hype

Ok Linkz, I said I would look at the numbers for whether I see a lynch as being a good thing on the first day.  Obviously I have absolutely no clue about any roles except for myself.  Also note I have made it clear I have a feeling there is an SK, and my reasonings were made for that.  So given that these conditions exist, I assumed 9*3*1 would be what general alignments would be given that stuff isn't crazy as in the last game (help me if I'm wrong and my numbers are off for how many townies or mafia there should be)

What I came up with is that the town has a chance of losing on night 2 already given that we lynch somebody today.  If we do not lynch anybody today, it is completely and totally impossible for the town to lose on night 2 (unless there is yet another killing role, which I didn't factor in).

This being the case, I cannot in my right mind vote for anything except no lynch today.

If any of my information in regards to what a general number of townies, mafia, or any other thing are significantly off, it would be greatly appreciated if you could make that known so I can redo my numbers based on that.
