If you already are accounting for name and ability claims, I think roleclaims would fall under one or both of these already, making it a redundant category.

meh, it's debatable.

True, but tell me:  what's the difference between "I'm a bus driver" and "I swap the position of two players at night"? 

And if the role is called something that has to do with the flavor of the game, that's why I said it might also fall under the name category.  But IMO there isn't anything about the role itself that is independent of the other two categories.

Is there really nothing to discuss except the rules hatmoza laid out?  Don't role claim, is it really that hard to understand?

Not very likely, but I might do out some numbers for whether or not it would be beneficial based on what I perceive to be roles in this game.  I mentioned earlier I'm trying not to get too opinionated on the absolute first day, but my most suspicious person would have to be you, for no reason other than a crap load of posts, which I'm not quite sure what to make of at the moment.

Honestly, it's only a question of theory:  whether two categories or three exist.  I don't think it's detrimental to the game. 

@ Hatmoza:  I don't think it was likely to last much longer anyway but the instant it goes on too long let me know.

I don't think the votes have changed since this post.  I looked it up cuz I was curious and it was far enough back that I figured a repost was warranted.

I'd like to ask people checking in on the game to think about where their votes are, or why they haven't voted yet.  I realize that a lot of people are kind of waiting to see what happens with trashleg, but I don't think it has to paralyze the game.
