Um... there's not much more to it, I target a hidden dead guy and get the information that was hidden. Like that Wonk was a super-uber-vilain-who-in-death-was-more-powerful-than-in-life-and-will-kill-us-unless-someone-utters-a-magic-word or that he really was just plain vanilla townie.

but you did have reasons to think his role would not be available to us. What if he was mafia and just claimed vanilla?

with a miller, we're assured to have a cop (well...), and there's also a witch... think about it, who does not have a role? even the mafia does (janitor).

day one you knew this:

Wonk claimed vanilla

1 I said the game was no vanilla

2 we had a friendly neighboor

3 we had a hobo

- we had a player with a non killing role visit the Hobo (possibly 1, 2 or 5 so not counted as extra)

4 we had a SK

5 we had a player with knowledge of the SK

6 You knew there was a player who could hide roles (mafia)

7 You knew there was at least one other mafia

8 You knew your role.

So you knew there was at least 8 roles out there, for 13 players and without counting the cop and doc usual roles (so 10 for 13, even 11 for 13 with 3 mafia). This leaves very little chance of having a "vanilla" player...

4-5 - True but I couldn't rule out the possibility of Baal being the SK

I also never write down all confirmed/alleged roles, I play more on memory so I never got a full picture like what you just did. Also, I didn't plan on being lynched like this so I thought I could put my ability to use.

lastly, who do you think are the last scums?

I am 100% convinced that poison = mafia kill, therefore Wonk is not mafia, jeez Heph. 

I was thinking Stefl was most likely to be mafia, but now I'm looking at baal, and not because of the hammer.  What do you guys think? 

Man these twilights are useful.  But I'd never do them in a game I ran.  OTOH I'd do the flip at day's end so...

2nded, if he flips town his insight will prove valuable to us.

If he does indeed flip town, good going guys although the information that he could have gleaned might have been useless to us in all respects taking into account that the janitor has been deceased, I still feel bad about a mislynch even if he was roleless.
