I totally agree with this; also, I think it makes more sense with the Janitor role which also takes place at night; if Wonk died at dusk, not only should the OP be updated at nightfall but the Janitor would be too late to clean up the evidence. 

I have no idea where you're getting this certainty of a single shot mafia assassin that somehow hasn't fired yet despite that the SK could have taken him out or he could get lynched; I don't buy it.  If the mafia were given more than a Janitor to even out the disadvantage of poisoning, IMO it'd be a bigger mafia, which would also help the poison doctor hypothesis.  And I think it's plausible that if there were a Pdoc he'd've turned up his nose at Wonk with his performance. 

As for the request for a claim, I decline to.  I categorically deny that I am the SK, but at the same time please note that I am not automatically accusing Linkz of lying. 

I will also say this, for you who doubt my denial:  even if I was the SK, IMO I'd have no reason to help the mafia.  Of course, I'd have no reason to help the town either, BUT I would have revenge as a motive to hurt the mafia.  Also, the SK has killed a mafia:  in fact, he's the ONLY one to have put a dent in the mafia so far.  And the other guy he killed was practically lurking.  And you want to kill me, when you think I'm that person?

I'd be on board a lynch of Stefl, TOS, or leatherhat.  I suspect them of being mafia.  I'm not sure about NotStan. 

Linkz, baal, Heph, and ABC are all lower on my list of suspects at the moment than the aforementioned. 

Revised list:  I'd rather lynch the top list (including NotStan) than the bottom list.  leatherhat seems like the least valuable person to lose if we mislynch, but on the other hand ANY mislynch hurts pretty bad right now.

It's not what I would do if poison was the standard kill method. I'd have waited until the second night to keep town guessing. But with the burn kill I'd assume SK and hold off. The SK needs to be eliminated eventually, and after that the poison basically confirms a townie for the next day. An immediate kill that couldn't be forseen would go a long ways to locking up a win.

Of course it's not a given that one even exists, I simply think it does and am willing to draw it out.

It's not a certainty, nor did I say it was specific to one mafioso. It would be strange if it were a faction-wide ability, but poison as the only kill method is pretty weak. I believe I'm thinking along the lines of Heph though, that they have an extra power in a Witch(even though mafiascum.net says it's pro-town) that cursed us.

If there is a poison doctor that ignored Wonk, he deserves a horrible award post-game. Wonk clearly wasn't the SK and there's zero reason not to keep a townie alive regardless of opinion on performance.

You're denying SK, but you're giving credit for prof's death to the SK when you visited him. You're clearly not protective or he'd have lived. You can't be a roleblocker or he wouldn't have janitored Wonk. You can't be the Witch because I was cursed. And you shouldn't be investigative or your scans will die with you. Even vig doesn't add up given all of the attention you gave Baal.

Unfortunately, if you're not going to claim and everyone is willing to throw Baal one more bone, I guess I'll have to move on. I could get behind a lynch of Stefl or TOS. I don't believe either is the cop, so it wouldn't be a big loss if the other was burned tonight either. Stefl's accusations that I'm lying sting of desperate scum. TOS to me sounds like scum trying to buddy up to a logically obvtown. I would rather see them go and resolve leather and NotStan tomorrow. Neither has done much, but they have excuses of being new and RL issues. If either is scum I'd say it's NotStan, but I don't really get a scumvibe from them.

I see your point but he might have figured he could get the next guy to die. 

It's not a matter of "crediting" anything, it's completely obvious that burning is non-mafia -- SK vs. vig is debatable IMO, the burn-killer's got a better track record than the town at this point.  Why can't I be vig?  Why would the SK put his own life in such risk by completely focusing attention on himself just to try to protect the psychiatrist?  (I'm not claiming vig either, just to be clear.) 

I could see giving the psych hints, not that I'm sure what sort of hints I was allegedly giving him, but the logical thing to do for an SK who found himself in my position near the end of the day would have been to out what I thought baal's role was.  It wouldn't have made sense to put my own life at risk just to hide his role for a day which might not even save him, and he might not have cured SK-me anyway. 

I'll defer to you on NotStan and leatherhat, half my suspicion of them is attributable to underparticipation anyway.  TOS and Stefl both seem pretty scummy in their own ways, but my gut says TOS.
