It is screw up. That would mean that Nintendo lowers the price of the Wii and make the higher end 249$. Why would Wii need 60GB?

When Wii supply outstrips demand, I think they will reconsider. Right now, it's silly to do something to further aggravate these shortages.

lol, highly unlikely, what's most likely to happen is that Nintendo allows games to run games of SD cards, so what I see happening is Nintendo encrypting games in such a way that it lockes the game to one console and can only be playable while the Wii is online for security checks, that way Nintendo protects their content and people get the extra space, either that or Nintendo just adds another 512MB and cranks out Wii's with 1GB internal flash memory.

Wii owners is the 512MB too small. Because roms are not that big, maybe you have music and are using it in excite truck?

mine is half full i dont think its to small unless they star making downloadable content then it will be to small
