Hard to pick one from the first group because they are all so bad, and hard for the second because they are all so good. And then trying to pick the other two is tough considering there are so many out of bloody stock.

You passed up a Wii because you were worried you couldn't get a second Wiimote? The Wiimote is the easy part.

So NA around 600-800K, Japan around 200K and others around 450K means Wii sold about 1.2-1.5 million last week WW

 

meaning Wii will be about 18.2-18.5 million WW 

 

I wonder if they have enough stock left WW to sell that remaining 1.5-1.8 million to reach 20

No no no, far from it.  Where I am in the UK, Wii's aren't impossible to find (not easy though), but Wii motes are freaking end of the world, kill your neighbour hard to find.

No no no, far from it.  Where I am in the UK, Wii's aren't impossible to find (not easy though), but Wii motes are freaking end of the world, kill your neighbour hard to find.


Just order the Wiimote from NA. It would be there in a week. I have 4 myself. Or buy the Wii and put it on Ebay. Easiest 200 dollars you've ever made.

You couldn't even find Wii Play? Ive seen quite a few of those come in to the stores I shop at regularly.

At this point 1m WW is assured, unless there have been some pretty big issues in the data for Others and America. And if that's the case then Japan would surely make up for it.

I think 2m WW is out of reach for the Wii, but DS may just grab it.

You just reminded me of my trip to a couple of gaming stores yesterday to buy a friend and my sister their christmas gifts. As I was waiting on line, the female in front of me cheerfully asked the clerk, "Do you have any Wii-motes?" He replied no and she let out a dejected moan. After a short pause she cheerfully asked, "Do you have any Wii Plays?" He replied no again and after another dejected moan she walked out of the store. While a bit sad, I found her tones a bit amusing, as did the clerk who immediately retold the conversation to all of his co-workers.
